tim glade to hear from you being an Allis nut love your videos the trip through the project yard was great hope to be seeing you more l know making videos is a lot of time but to an retired guy setting in the house on a cold day it makes the day great we have a 190XT in shop and aD17D to finish up So weather that been nice in shop with a little heat I will be watchin and long live Franky in a later video!!!!!!

Thankyou sir! I think I've got a block for Franky. I've just gotta make the drive out to Iowa to make sure it's good and to pick it up. But there's not much point right now, I'm still waiting for the head to come back for the 19. And I definitely don't have room to tear another one apart in there lol. The heater quit working on the garage and it took a couple weeks to get the part to fix it. But that working again so when we do get the head back we will be comfortable working on it at least lol. Thanks for airways being here and commenting. And again sorry I'm so late on the response here.

The D17 and D19 diesels were great tractors. I don't know much about the history of Buda but do like those engines.

Just a little history on them. Buda created the liquid cooled engine as we know it today, not alot has changed since their 1st pattent back around 1900, they were also one of the 1st companies to run a 4 stroke on diesel. They were way ahead of their time really.

Don't you wish some of most innovative minds in the history of this country received the recognition they deserve.....I looked up Buda and read a little history that is on Wiki, apparently George Chalender was at the helm in the beginning. Some other interesting people you don't hear much about if you like creative gearheads are Charles Kettering and Robert G LeTourneau...Good reading on a winter day.

Tim, it's so good to see all that orange kept going. Most of my time on them is with the hundred series, currently having a 180 and 185. I'm currently learning my way through rebuilding a 426 engine out of a 220. It does not have the correct injection pump (dbgfc637-11gr). Do you have any recommendations on where I might find the right pump and what the numbers on it would be? I did find a splined pump drive shaft to replace the tang drive shaft currently on the engine. Do you have any engine build videos on your 426 engine? Any information will be much appreciated.

Man yeah Tim, that is amazing on the WD stuff!!! I spyed something that looked alot like a JD grain buggy in tht background 🤔😉 You are an absolute genius when it comes to that AC and Buda stuff!! I will definitely be taking you guys along for the Chevy powered allis. My brother is going to buy it from me and put his running 292 in it. The grain buggy is done cheap off brand that some one painted in JD colors in guessing to fit in with their equipment 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. The augers are shot in it and my brother never got around to fixing it this summer lol. He might have it working next fall but I wouldn't hold my breath 😆. I'm still waiting for the head to come back on that 19.

That’s 2 things it’s hard to find down here in Nc is a WD45 diesel and a wide frunt lol I’ve gat 3 wd45 and 2 wd a wc a ca and 3 bs 2cs and a 7060 lol and I like the high crop

The wide fronts we come across sometimes, but the diesels are not that easy to come by. I literally know 3 of the biggest collectors in the country. All within driving range. So I come up with some interesting things sometimes lol.

Honestly I don't know enough about them to say 😆. I'm going off what Chris said. He has a 292 from a combine, that he said was the same engine 🤷‍♂️. For all I know the one he has is a 235 too 😆 🤣 😂

That one with the old Chevy motor is interesting. I wonder if they ever got it running? It looks like the common 235 Motor. The later 292 would have the wide base cast on for the bell housing. I really am curious what they did for adaptor plates and flywheel?

It very well could be a 235. I don't know alot about them and I'm going off what my brother said lol. The engine he has is a 292,I think he's going to put in it. When that time comes I'll have a video on it for sure. I'm pretty curious about the flywheel, and It sure seems life they were using it like this. Thanks for watching!

The newer Chevy 6's were completely different, designed for release in 1963. Totally different from the old style prior to that. The newer engine uses the same bell housing as the V8, the engine will fit right up the same as a V8. The older one uses the old style that only fits the old 6's and the front mounts are under the front crank pulley. The newer one front mounts are on the side of the block , like the V8.@@TimothyFluegel

Not off the top of my head. But I will definitely keep you in mind. I've found that I'd you could find a cheap woods mower to put under that B all the sudden everyone wants it lol. I sold B cultivision for $3500 a few years ago. Before I put the mower on it, no one would bat an eye at it for 2500. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
