    Thanks for keeping the old allises running. I bought a 6080 2 years ago Im in the process of fixing up new clutch cab kit and paint. We also have a D-17 so I'll be looking forward to the hand clutch video.

      You're welcome Jeff. It sounds like I should say the same to you. Lol I'm trying to keep the clutch video informative and short, but it's not turning out to be that short 😆. However it should have all the info you need to rebuild one and replace it.

      Your welcome Jeff! I'm still thinking about that shag carpet in the cab 😆. I was acually wondering what neon orange with a blacklight would look like in there 😆

    Man, I'm glad you got that bolt out easy, broken engine bolts are a bad day. I was laughing hard when you said "we've got no leaks! Ahhh, we've got one leak!" 🤣🤣 She definitely has a nice sound. I'll be looking forward to the hand clutch tutorial too! Hope you have a good one, Tim!

      Thankyou Evan!! As you could tell in the video I was still pretty happy with only one leak 😆 🤣 😂 I'll have the clutch video up on Sunday. I tried making it dirty and information but it ended up being about ½ hour. But, I think I've got all the technical jargon covered to the point someone should be able to rebuild one just by watching the video. Thankyou for watching and commenting Evan!!

    Hi Tim had that happen on my D19 gas was torquing the head bolts and one made a loud pop and l quickly spun it out and it had stretched the bolt but it did come out lucky!!! Great to see new video and l will be watchin!!! the 45 D build will be great!!! but lam still watching for Franky LOL !!!!!!!!

      I got so lucky with that bolt 😆. It sounds like you did too, but what a feeling of relief when it turned out, I'm sore I don't need to tell you that lol. It's going to be a couple weeks before my machine shop gets their new torch powder tips, so if I can secure this 433 block Franky might be next in the shop. Thanks for always being here my friend!

What are the odds that came out with a screwdriver 🤦🤔🤣🤣 But maybe thats a sign, you need to buy a lottery ticket 🤣🤣🤣 Looking fwd to the hand clutch and 230 project as well!! You both are genius builders, loved every min of it!! 😁😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

      Thankyou my friend. I can't wait to hook this thing up to a plow and listen to it whistle lol. I have to be the luckiest sob in 1000 miles for sure with that bolt. The hand clutch of course is being a pain but we got it licked and going back together today. Thanks for airways being here my friend!!

    Another educational and fun video with Tim and Professor Bob. May have missed it, but what causes the pitting on the head?

    • @thomasandrews9764
      @thomasandrews9764 5 місяців тому +1

      We're guessing that the pitting in the head came from years of electrolysis. We got lucky and it was only a .001 off. The old block was packed with rust all around the sleeves. I pulled one sleeve out which took forever. And the shit that fell out was amazing.

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  5 місяців тому

      On top of what Bob said above here. The head gasket was fried and it's hard telling how long it was run like that. And it was .010 that we had taken off the head. Thanks for watching Robert!!

    Was that a Gas or Diesel Block, or are they the same. I’m not as familiar with the small AC Engines, worked on quite a few 301 and 426. Sounds pretty good after she was warmed up. We always took them to the Dyno, shortly after a heat cycle or two. Thanks for the Videos, Tim. Good job Bob.

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  5 місяців тому +1

      Thankyou Douglas. The only difference in the blocks are 1 letter in the serial number 😆 other than that they are identical. Sleeves are the same and everything. Before I knew where to take it to use a dyno around here I always broke them in with a plow in the spring and had good luck so far. So now I figure why pay to use a dyno when I can do it for free and have way more fun in the process lol.

    This was a great vid Tim, if you didn't see any fluid leaking or there was no exhaust leak either that's always a Plus, is that cab factory or is it a home made, I've never seen a D series AC with a cab, I seen a D15 AC with duals on, it looked like the guy had to modify the band to make them fit, have you ever used Wix filter, or Baldwin? I think Napa have good filters for agriculture and I don't think there's anything wrong with their hydraulic filters either, I was at a Case dealership a while ago and I they were showing the comparison of these different hydraulic filters like the IH and Baldwin and Napa, I think they are all good, every one has their preference, id probably go with Napa or the factory, it was too bad that Toby Keith has passed away 🚜😔 you told me a while ago that you have Snap-on tools from the 80s you really got a life time use out of them🛠️🛠️

    • @thomasandrews9764
      @thomasandrews9764 5 місяців тому

      We do have a tractor or two with Baldwin filters. We don't use wix filters. There water treatment for electrolysis is awesome though. We like the agco filters. Purest at heart I guess.Lol...

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  5 місяців тому +1

      It's kind of a factory cab lol. It's a hiniker cab built for the 19. As far as I know you could order them life that from allis. But I may be mistaken there. As far as snap on tools I have a half in wrench 😆 an old socket set that's missing a bunch of sockets. And a battery charger lol. The charger is the best one I've ever used I can say that. As far a fingers it's either agco, Napa gold, or Baldwin. Thanks for watching and commenting Matt!
