The beginning is Clown Guy 😋 P.S. Pretty sure the “elephant noise” is an old-school bugle horn, which is mimicking a similar horn that would’ve been used in the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
Deep Talking Corey is so sexy and so scary at the same time. Love the Pinhead gif, but the elephant one made me LOL. I’m glad I was on my lunch break for that.
This song is pretty much one of the rare times Slipknot does Anthem songs really. You'll notice it has particularly similar energy to songs like "Surfacing" or their demo on the self titled album "Snap"
One of my favorites off this album. This song is like drinking a 30 pack of Red Bull, doing a line of cocaine and being electrocuted at the same time!!!
4:18 - "(Sic) Poetry" maybe? Dunno, but if it is slam poetry, Slipknot gives a whole different definition to "slam". Also, yes, I would have voted for Custer if it was on the poll. This is my favorite song off of The Gray Chapter by far. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Oh yeah, I loved the GIFs too!
The poll with AOV and If Rain is what you Want was difficult enough, this on the poll would have been ridiculous. I don't know who the voices are in the beginning, but being the Grey chapter, I kinds want to believe one might be Paul, like it was something they were working on when he was still alive. I'm probably wrong, but it sounds good to me. I love the lyrics of this song.
Used to play this album at work. When Custer came on, I would get the weirdest looks, oddly enough. I would say, "Hey I didn't write this song. I just have the lack of judgment to play it in public." And then I would turn it up so loud it would bother the customers. They wouldn't fire me. They were afraid of me. Which I thought was really funny, because I'm actually a very nice guy. 😲😂😂😂😂😡
I am new to your channel but after watching a lot of your videos I think you may enjoy Between The Buried and Me. The song of their new album Revolution In Limbo could be a good starting point 👀😊
AOV was, is and will be my favourite of Grey Chapter. This one is agressive, hard and weird some times, but not on the level of AOV. Nice vid nonetheless, as always.
Custer is named after George Custer from the civil war. The song is based off him and the Sioux Wars. Cut me up I think is a reference from how the Indians would scalp their enemies.
Pretty sure Clown is the intro voice. Slam poetry in Hell Corey!😂 Lol you don’t have words for Corey’s voice that you’re willing to put on the internet, kidding had to pick on ya because your reaction to his voice is like my reaction to a specific look girls give. Love the outro gif!🤘🏻🤘🏻 oh and I will always think of the Jungle Book now because of the elephant gif!
The intro was actually clown lol I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that sample is some kind of tape deck rewinding, this is not the first time they've sampled tape decks but it might be pitched up. I'm also pretty sure that Corey part after the first chorus is pinhead sampling Corey's "pity" vocal and chopping it up. Custer is a song that's grown on me a lot over time, I didn't really get the hype at first but there's so many cool stand out moments in this one. A lot of people will say this is "Chris's song" because of the backing vocals, but honestly everyone's parts here are amazing, vocals, samples, percussion, guitars, scratching, you name it. Possibly one of the best songs on the record. You have to do this one on Lauren watches at some point the official video is a live one and you really get to see the bands dynamics in full swing. Also yes Chris had multiple masks this cycle. Chris, Clown and sometimes Sid often have a few different variants of their current mask they'll switch between. The chrome one was his official ".5 mask" but he would also use some previous masks from All Hope Is Gone like the green one, and one he specifically had made for Knotfest Japan that had wider eyes and a dainty upturned nose that I really like.
it was clown at first saying it slowly then jim saying it right after. you should do XIX and Sarcastrophe together, I can tell that you will really like the vocals on XIX.
Ok random thought while listening to a Snuff reaction (Brad and Lex (Lex cracks me up!)), do you (or any other maggots) think “the last one standing gets no pity” and “and spit your pity in my soul” are related? Since Paul convinced Corey to record Snuff and The Gray Chapter is for Paul it just makes me curious. Idk, I could be reaching but what do y’all think???
EARLY AS FUCK MATE yeah its me from last night cant wait to see most insane concert moments make more slipknot videos they are funny and great and from what i see most of your viewers from what i see are maggots☺😊 Edit:First like too, also i know your an adult so take your time i/we can and should wait
This song live is on another level. You get to see Pinnochio's energy as the backing vocals!
The next "Lauren watches..." maybe?
You are right, but the best version is Custer at the day of the gusano.
That may be the best live video ever. My favorite anyway.
The beginning is Clown Guy 😋
P.S. Pretty sure the “elephant noise” is an old-school bugle horn, which is mimicking a similar horn that would’ve been used in the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
It's a goat i think
Yes, this song is literally a BANGER!
P.S. We started with a top 10 and now we have a top 20 ahahaha, too many songs to love!
Deep Talking Corey is so sexy and so scary at the same time. Love the Pinhead gif, but the elephant one made me LOL. I’m glad I was on my lunch break for that.
Fun fact: This song was made in 15 minutes and made the same day as The Negative One
One of my favourites, always great to see new people react to it lmao
This song is pretty much one of the rare times Slipknot does Anthem songs really.
You'll notice it has particularly similar energy to songs like "Surfacing" or their demo on the self titled album "Snap"
Now you gotta do XIX into Sarcastrophe off the intro for this album. Corey's vocals are killer in that intro
AOV last week, Custer this week......I love you Lozza. You've made a crappy time for me more tolerable. One of your best reactions yet.
Elephant xDxD glossary part 3 coming soon guys xD
Left behind by slipknot is awsome
One of my favorites off this album. This song is like drinking a 30 pack of Red Bull, doing a line of cocaine and being electrocuted at the same time!!!
Deep Talking Corey should be illegal.
Him and Angry Maynard should do a duet
omg, YES!
I love when sid gets to shine.
you need to see SLIPKNOT LIVE
The beginning voice is definitely Shawn Crahan.
The jungle book gif got me 😂😂😂
This a great song. Great reaction Lauren! 🤟🏻🐐
Corey traylor is a demented poet
I do like the idea of switching albums in order for each week.
this is the most unique title I've ever seen!

@@RG049 thank you
Clown at the beginning 👍🏻
Ha! I was right the first time! :) So who's the second voice?
@@MusicCatsandCoffee corey is the second voice.
@@MusicCatsandCoffee It's corey. He does that "ti ti da, ti ti da, ti ti da da da" to start the song when they play live
@@CouFoiVideos really I thought all of them was Shawn talking
@@MusicCatsandCoffee Chris Fehn does backing vocals live and in the studio i’m pretty sure, could be TOTALLY wrong though lol
You should do the live version reaction, I'd be nice to see. Haha.

you should react to stone sour's "I can't believe" demo from 1994, you won't believe that's Corey singing
Please! 😎
YESSS
Im pretty sure the animal noise that you hear is literally sampled from the fucking screaming goat meme. Which if true, is absolutely hilarious
Congratulations on 3k subs
Now that you mention it, you should do Korn's version of Kidnap the Sandy Claws, it's pretty cool
AOV was, is and will be my favourite of Grey Chapter. This one is agressive, hard and weird some times, but not on the level of AOV. Nice vid nonetheless, as always.

React to some Slipknot Funny Moments, the compilations from 661ave are really good. And great reaction as always!
It's Clown at the very beginning doing the slowed down beat :-D
Pretty sure Clown is the intro voice. No comment. :D
Stone Sour - I Can't Believe (1994 demo) please!
Sounds like a plan to me petal. Go for it.
the voice in the beginning is Clown
love this song!!
You should do Slipknot (sic) live at dynamo 2000.
The intro was actually clown lol

you need to react to this song live at knotfest 2014
Day of the gusano is better because of the energy from the public
Watch the live version please 😭
it was clown at first saying it slowly then jim saying it right after. you should do XIX and Sarcastrophe together, I can tell that you will really like the vocals on XIX.
Nah it's clown all the way through
I suggest "pulse of the maggots" I bet you would enjoy it :)
You're right. I did. :) ua-cam.com/video/azsjIDV6b7c/v-deo.html
@@MusicCatsandCoffee I know, I just realized that. I forgot to check. thanks for the link to the video though. and the heart! :)
XIX and sarcastrophe ‼️
well atleast Pinhead was headbaning to the part LOL
