Thanks for the video... I put 120ah Big Battery eagle kit in my 04 club car DS a couple months ago and couldn't be happier.... I'm running Navitas 4kw motor with 600A controller.
I have the same batteries with a stock club car precedent. I have the Alltrax 48300 controller and I was wondering what you set REGEN to in your Alltrax? Thanks for the great videos.
I Installed the Falcon Elite Kit 120Ah in my Icon L6 48V and get no response, all utilities work, I removed the O.E. onboard Charger to be replaced with Big Batteries Charger. When I press the pedal, it clicks but goes nowhere, any advice would be appreciated ??
I’m about to start this process myself on a similar situation. Golf cart that’s been sitting in the woods for about 5 years. What would you suggest when looking to buy all new wiring
I have just some golf cart frame everything is pulled out wires and everything could I get a motor and the wires as a kit or what I need let me know Cajunland Church Point News Louisiana
I know that this is year late , but that charger does not look anything like the charger from the Big Battery kit, it is certainly not water resistant. Maybe you could show us how to crimp new lugs, I appreciate your videos.
OKI saw that you put on both in the middle that even's out your weight. But I would still put a battery on each side and mount all your electronics on the back wall that will give you more storage between the batteries.
@@kartkrazy Wow, thanks for your quick reply! ok, we’ll, BB only says to disconnect the pos and neg leads of the charger port from the cart and connect to their busbar. On my ‘03 CC DS the neg lead goes directly into the back of the OBC. So, I’d need to cut it at the OBC, put a new ring terminal on it and connect it to the busbar. Do you think that’s it? The pos lead is already connected to the main battery pack pos terminal.
@@Jared535 …I haven’t tracked it with a odometer but my trips don’t change much and the lead acid lasted longer . The main problem with the lithium is you have to be very careful when you get down to under 40% . Under 40% and you take a chance of having to wake the batteries up which I don’t have the charger for . I got lucky already once by charging them separately and it worked but they were only low not asleep.
I just bought 6 Trojan T105, 6-volt batteries, they cost almost exactly $1,000 including cores. From now on I will have to pretend lithium batteries don't exist so I won't want to kick the dog every time I see one.
Yeah, I was looking at $1200 for 4 12 volts so I made the jump to LiFePO4. Since my cart gets daily 25-35 miles I also went ahead and went 72 volts. My lead Trojans lasted 2 years so I'll never go lead again. Big Battery guarantees 3500 charge cycles, that's TEN YEARS. The are expensive but way cheaper in the long run.

You can buy a Anderson Connector bulkhead to keep from raising the seat each time. Makes for a cleaner installation. Even if you only stay on paved roads dust, debris, and moisture still gets in that well area. My Club Car has a tub for the batteries and I still get plenty of junk that needs blown out periodically.
I can't believe anyone even sells lead acid batteries for carts. Especially flooded batteries like the Trojans. What a nightmare with the maintenance and offgassing, etc

Awesome!!! Glad to hear!
nice, they were out of stock on the 400A 4kw motor so the seller offered me the 600a 5kw motor for $150 more and man, couldn’t be happier
Just ordered using your code! Going in an 88 Marathon and will be converting to 48v. Keep up the good content.
I saw that!! Thank you very much!!
Still happy with the BigBatteries at this point? My lead acid are done and need to replace. Debating between this, allied or enjoybot.
Yes!!! I have used them in 6-8 builds and they are doing awesome 😎
Well done. Totally agree with your take on lithium.
Thank you!!

I turn off the REGEN
Nice batteries!! Will definitely look them up....thanks for the tip and the video
Your welcome
I own the 90ah kit, the charger is not weather sealed so I would not mount it. You’re better off bolting the anderson to the charger port.
Facts
When installing these into an RXV what wire do I have to jump from the charging port? So it thinks it not on the charger. Thank you
Replied on Facebook 😎
If you live in Florida with the humidity the warranty will NOT fix them. I bought 4 eagles.6 months ago im screwed.
Email me and I will try to help.

do you think the wiring is bad?
What do you recommend one or two batteries for 48 V
I personally like the single Falcon single battery. Both are fine.

you can order a kit from any of the major parts suppliers

You are correct. They changed the chargers now. Thanks for watching!!
Jeff Thanks for the info. I ordered them using your code.

Not to sound picky or anything but you should have put a battery on each side to even out your weight
OKI saw that you put on both in the middle that even's out your weight. But I would still put a battery on each side and mount all your electronics on the back wall that will give you more storage between the batteries.
They are super light😎👍🏻
Maybe mount them closer to the passenger side to even the weight of the drivers side weight with the driver sitting in the cart.
That’s what I do on the Club Cars… with the Ez Go it’s just easier because of all the electronics being right there. Maybe I’m just lazy. 😂
Question...what voltage is that motor? Im assuming a 36v being a 94? If so, did you replace it with a 48v?
You are correct…it is a 36 volt. You can run 48v on these older ones and be ok. Good catch!!
@@kartkrazy ok, just so I understand you correctly. Your saying you hooked up those 48v batteries to that 36v motor?

Depends on how you wire the BB charger
