That’s awesome! I don’t see any reason why it would work differently in Brazil. I would pick out some lures that seem like they would work for the fish in your area. I don’t know much about fishing in Brazil.
"Hmm, maybe I could pour my own jig heads." "oh maybe I should pour my own soft plastic lures" "oh maybe I should make my own molds to pour soft plastics" Looking at spending $450+ to save on jigs and lures that cost $1-5 each. What am I doing? 😅 Edit: subscribed
@@HandCraftedAnglingI’ve been 3d printing hardbait a for a while, my favorites are microbaits, and now I’m trying to get into making my own soft plastic molds, I have some aluminum molds that I’ve enjoyed, but I don’t want to spend 150 bucks plus every time I want to do a new lure, what kind of printer should I get? And do you have any suggestions for getting bubbles out of my plastic?
@NoSleepTill72 Ive actually been working on printing some hard baits on the resin printer. I use an anycubic photon mono x and it has worked really well for me. Im not sure if they make it anymore its outdated. Might be able to pick one up cheap. I wish i could help you with the newer ones but I havent looked into them enough. I think for the most part as long as its a good build quality they are all the same. The most important feature is screen size. You want it to be big enough to print all of the molds you want. Resolution isnt really important for lure making. I think 4k is the lowest screen resolution they make now and that is more than enough. Some of the newer printers have some nice creature features but they are not nessisairy. Some of them have built in heaters so you dont have to set up a heated enclosure. Some of them also have auto refil for the vat so you dont have to top it off mid print. Most of my multi cavity molds need to be toped off atleast once. Kind of sucks for overnight prints. Let me know if you have any questions.
Very cool, thank!
Glad you liked it!
The little white lines are from alcohol that didn’t come off and then when you cure it the alcohol leaves white blotches and streaks.
Thanks thats good to know
I'm from Brazil and would like to implement this in Brazil, what advice would you give?
