Greetings from PR. I see you are back. I hope all the personal problems are, at least better. ME, well at last I turbocharged my 3SFE engine. I named it RAV4orce. And its a beast.
well, I wouldn't say "back" as I wont be creating content for a while. And the channel will likely never be the same, but indeed with the world a mess, Life is comfortable.
A lot im afraid. firstly my swaps use the Caldina ECU, mine uses the rarest Manual AWD Ecu, you're essentially wiring a completely different engine computer to adapt to the chassis wiring of the Rav4, its essentially Ignition, and instrumentation, charging and some controls for example air conditioning and cooling fan controls. simply matching color wires will guarantee you blow something, each wire has a specific purpose or is part of its own system, you need to study the rav4, chassis wiring the original 3S-FE engine controls wiring and how and where it branches into the chassis, then once you fully understand that, the Caldina engine computer can be substituted for the 3S-FE ECU. an engine swap is not complete once the engine is in the bay, anyone can do that. ZERO engine trouble codes and a fully operational dash instrumentation is a complete swap. the JDM Tach and Speedo will not work without conversion devices. I prefer Dakota Digital SGI-5E and SGI-8E converters as the MSD tach converter is analog and electronically noisy AF.
@@jeffreyblanco5943 sorry Mister, the truth is this channel is not what it used to be. I had over 230 videos and almost 3500 subs at one time. life took some strange turns, and my rav4 GTT is across the country at the moment and in need of a lot of work, if I can get it in my possession and afford another engine this year, then I may get back to making new content, but Life is much different than it was when I made these videos.
I believe it is the 3Sgte from the JDM Toyota CALDINA. It’s a 2.0 turbo and believe the bottom end matches the RAV4s 3Sfe. I’m very interested in doing this and am glad this guy has these gems of info on here.

@@welcome2myworld1.o89 Yeah, haha, I guess you do i have to see it. ua-cam.com/video/Fjp70JY2UGE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=almc2242
What do you have to do the wiring?

Hi, what motor is this?

I have a 2000 rav 4 any ideas of what engine and transmission i could swap to make it faster it’s automatic
Yep, as Simnett explained, dump the Auto box and put in a Caldina GTT Engine and the Celica GTfour Gearbox, its the GOAT!
Easy and cheap swap? 😍
Easy, sort of if you are competent in Electronics and Engine Controls, Cheap, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
@@Rav4GTT 😢 sucks to hear
