I don't think that here in Europe they allow that "now tax" shady practices. They see it in the RTG scan that it's electronics and they unpack everything marked as a "gift" or suspiciously cheap, value it and tax it , rquest tax payment and hold theitem until tax is paid. I used to buy some stuff like 20yrs ago while student, but I don't go through this pain anymore. In some cases you can buy chineese stuf from European warehouse, but anything I considered to by from those wasn't really that much chepaer. I looked at it only few times, when forwarded from tech-geek web site article, so I don't know if you really can make a deal. All I know is, that on some Chineese shops you "can" buy for like $200 a tablet with 8K screen and a superb processor etc. - a HW of crazy specs that doesn't even exist yet. I won't name the shop, but you'd Wish such deal exist :-). The main point why I don't do those Chineese shops are real mess to me, if one wants a good deal, he must spend a ton of time to make sure he won't get ripped, like with the 8K tablet. And time is really expensive these days! :-)
Thanks for pointing out you can't store games or apps on the Galaxy Tab A7's SD card. That is very disappointing. For what it's worth Lenovo seems to be offering Enterprise Security updates until 1/1/2024 for the P11. But OS updates seem to be one update at most.

Nice review, was thinking for a replacement for my Yoga Tab Pro, which is getting some battery and bootloop issues now, i would get another one if they made a decent replacement. Recently it just got slower and slower and I noticed that it runs Android 5! So a new tablet seems necessary. Hello . I am a lucky owner of a Lenovo Tab p11, but one thing is my luck ... it goes wrong. I have my local tv application installed (vectra tvonline) and the content in it is not good. The video tears and breaks visibly. It is similar with the voice. Have you faced this problem? On my other devices (smartphone, laptop and other tablet) this problem does not occur! I tried to fight it - to no avail :). P11 components allow us to believe that such a problem should not occur. And yet it is so. In Poland, I was unable to get help. Greetings. Marek Wroclaw. ps. you should really get the p11 plus with the Mediathek helio g90t soc which is much more powerful and leaves both the 2020 samsung tab s6 lite in the dust and is even quite a bit faster than the 2022 s6lite. the p11 plus has no issues running any game on mid to high settings.

Cheapest good ones with pen support are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite & Galaxy Tab S9 FE, as well as the iPad 7, 8, 9 and 10. All of them are great used too.

Great video! After using P11 for a while I had to return it mostly because it stutters playing online videos, outside youtube and netflix. The battery life does not impress also. There are no indications, that it will get Android 12. Tab s6 lite is a better buy at the moment, amazon in Germany offers it for something like 244 Euros.

You can use any active pen, I believe. Tons of them available, just make sure it's active, the other type (capacitance) will work too, however with less precision. I say that, because the "Lenovo Keyboard Pack for tab P11" is not available in a bundle with pen and you'll have to get purchase separately anyway. Any BT keyboard working directly via BT protocol (without dongle) should work with the tablet. If you get more "normal" size compact slim keyboard it's going to be easier to use, but yes, indeed this one is pretty sexy.
The Microsoft Surface pen works on the P11 and P11 pro tablets. If you already have a surface and want to use one stylus for 2 devices (it gets confusing having 2 different styli when going back and forth, I've tried) this can be a good android tablet. Could you quickly try the surface pen on this tablet and also the precision pen on the Surface, please. It also gives more options when you need to replace a lost pen and can't quickly get another precision pen.
I hear its much cheaper(depending on your country) to order and ship this from China under the Xiaoxin Pad/PadPro. If any of your were interested in this Tab P11.
Hmm, I can't really confirm that. Hearing about savings, I looked to see myself - on the GearBest, AliExpress and Wish. I ruled out Wish quickly due to references, reputation and overall questionable content (I mean 8K 12" tablet with all the features for $175? Really? there aren't even hi-end top-brands such things yet...). I then looked at the remaining two for the Chinese versions with western ROM of the Lenovo P11 tablet and tried to configure it to what I want (like 6/128 GB, etc). The first STOP sign was, that I couldn't really get it from an EU warehouse, which makes a big difference, since you loose a tough EU warranty guarantees and the shipment will be subject to import tax. Even then, comparing the Chinese shipped tablets with accessories purchased separately to locally sold bundle, I realistically got some 10% price difference. If you compared tablets only, I believe best you can achieve is about 20%. But what is going to be the import tax? So for that price difference minus paying unknown (to me) tax, is it really make sense dealing with quirky funky Chinese eshops and loosing reliable warranty? And there's another aspect. I don't know for how much you value your time, but mine is deer. Finding and evaluating a realistic deal on the Chinese ehops takes time. I did my research out of curiosity, but if I counted in my time, I spent *much* more money in time on Chinese matter than I could *possibly* save. So I'm buying locally.

You probably decided. The price $385 seems to be for P11, not the Pro version, which should be around the S6 ($650). Tablets have specific area of usage and are difficult to use for some traditional tasks, so it depends if you'd be a heavy user. If I was heavy user and was buing it for myself, I'd get P11 Pro, S6 or S7. I actually have older Galaxy S tab too, but it's now morally and technically outdated and unused and we have also older a 7" Alcatel for kids. In my case, I'm looking for a tablet for my wife and kids and I'll use it only for spare time reading and youtubing. So I'm probably going with P11 with dock bundle and the keyboard cover set.

The pens from Galaxy Tab and Note9 are not working with the tablet, though. Even though they're active pens too. @@lyricalmusicvideo8875 screen is absolutely fantastic, I consider the p11 pro to be a mid range tablet, and the screen is the best in class. Not the more powerful tablet in terms of processing power, so things are a bit jittery when compared to a my Samsung galaxy note. I use it as a media tablet and for that it's perfect. I would not recommend if your a power user and intend to do work on it

Tab s6 lite is heavily discounted at the moment, but tab s7 lite will be noticeably better, also more expensive. My usage of tabs are pretty general - video, social messaging, music. Tab s6 lite does that great.

I didnt know that the P11 had keyboard support as well. If we look at Samsung they usually cut that support from the less expensive tablet.
and they cut the spen support aswell wich lenovo does even on the tab m10 fhd plus which is a cheaper one.

Nah, I like the Plus variant more for its powerful battery and the Mediatek gaming chipset. It also has an interesting camera.

@@lyricalmusicvideo8875 screen is absolutely fantastic, I consider the p11 pro to be a mid range tablet, and the screen is the best in class. Not the more powerful tablet in terms of processing power, so things are a bit jittery when compared to a my Samsung galaxy note. I use it as a media tablet and for that it's perfect. I would not recommend if your a power user and intend to do work on it

Tab s6 lite is heavily discounted at the moment, but tab s7 lite will be noticeably better, also more expensive. My usage of tabs are pretty general - video, social messaging, music. Tab s6 lite does that great.
