How lovely to see you all again, revisit all the places we enjoyed during the patreon weekend and see the animals again - especially Pepper following the bath around! The background sounds of the crowing cockerels were so familiar, and nice to hear Margot behind the camera. She's doing a great job of filming. Such a pity that Guillermo has moved on. It was lovely to hear his playing throughout our time there, also yours with the children, Amy. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

It is quite something how these very interesting and talented people are showcased as volunteers at your chateau! You are creating a unique community, and it is very nice to see that, above and beyond the actual work that is done. Sort of like when Proust discussed cathedral building as it was done in the Middle Ages, the workers had scope for individuality and creativity!
Thank you! We actually very rarely have volunteers but they feature disproportionately because they really help us to move forward with the work. I’m glad you like the people we’ve had in so far. We’re really careful about who comes to stay and we’ve been so fortunate this year. Some really enriching people for the household. It’ll be a while now before we have somebody new because the kids get very attached to them and it’s hard when they leave.
Well Marc is in desperate need of a real new pair of shoes, under the sun, rain, snow, whichever climate, the same pair of sandals 😂

Frost on the windshields and a frozen bird bath here today so it was delightful to wake up the sunny summer days at Rosieres 🌻 Impressive animal parade escorting the bath. Is Dave, the turkey, actuall as big a Pepper???? Guillermo looks like he provided some excellent square meters of paint assistance. It's always wonderful to see someone other than you, Amy, doing heavy lifting. Save that back for carrying muddy kids. 😘 Can't wait to see what Marc rigged up to get the tub up the stairs. I'm guessing sliding it up wood planks? Maybe attaching Pepper and Dave at the top for extra oomph? 🤔 Hoping your family is well and the Coach House is habitable before your weather turns icy!
This was only a couple of weeks ago! We had quite the Indian Summer this autumn! And the lads just carried the bath up themselves 😮. I’m glad I wasn’t there to see it!
