I could sit here and point out the multiple incorrect translations but basically she is not asking it in a question form. She is telling them and they are saying Yes in acknowledgement of the question. If I were you I would find a interpreter who is properly trained in the dialect vs having a friend or layman to ask the questions. i know it seems simple enough but most interpreters have corrective training which helps offer an unbiased opinion.

Love these videos. I looked up the thing about the Dawabshe family because I was curious. Apparently, the Israeli who did that was in fact charged with murder and sentenced to life in prison. So I think that this is a little bit different than a suicide bomber who is praised as a hero in Palestinian society.

The way most of this people answered yes with such calmness and confidence as if they were asked if they like chocolate, made me hopeless that we will never find a solution to our enormous conflict. I could sit here and point out the multiple incorrect translations but basically she is not asking it in a question form. She is telling them and they are saying Yes in acknowledgement of the question. If I were you I would find a interpreter who is properly trained in the dialect vs having a friend or layman to ask the questions. i know it seems simple enough but most interpreters have corrective training which helps offer an unbiased opinion.
I'm also an Arabic speaker -a native one- and I do not see why you think so. Even non Arabic speakers can see through translation that people respond and even explain their answers and reasons.
