Thanks, bud! My dryer stopped working. I began testing all of the components to find that the thermal cutout was tripped. This cut out cant be reset. I pulled the lent chute out to find that it was clogged up, which was preventing proper airflow across this thermal switch thus tripping it. I cleaned the chute and motor wheel, wired the 2 thermal wires together ( temporary fix for the weekend this is not recommended unless you have verified proper motor operation and cleaned out the lent chute), fired the dryer back up verified good airflow out the vent and ordered a new switch for 6 bucks just saved me 600 for a new dryer and my wifes sanity ! 😂

Great video. How do you replace the wheel? Mine is making an awful noise. I picked up a washer and dryer at a garage sale for $280.00. Hooked it up at home and the noise was loud. Watch your video here, and figured out a wheel is bad.
Darn. I thought you would show the timer area. I replaced a part before but it’s been a couple years. I also have to figure out how to use a meter. I just have a cheap on from Harbor Freight, the 7 functional one and I don’t know how to check for continuity. It doesn’t beep.
