Big thanks for providing these videos. As a first-timer (HPDE1 at Podium Club at Atessa), I will watch this 20+ times before getting on the track at APM on Saturday. They are invaluable.
If that Miata wasn't in the dirt on turn 8 would you have stuck track left for a little longer? That corner was really throwing me off in my session I had recently. Also, thanks for making these videos!
Yeah you'll probably accelerate better outta the corner haha. No the same physics apply but be mindful of getting on the gas to early and understeering
With regards to the line, no difference. You may get away with a bit more trail braking at some sections to rotate the car and sooner on the throttle if the turn allows.
@@WDLRacing May be a dumb question but from what I understand about MR dynamics from Sim-Racing, is it generally tougher to trail brake than a rwd, fwd or awd?
@@KookiDowg honestly I find it easier. Mr and rr have more weight in the back so it takes quite a bit more weight transfer to disturb the rear end. But of course if you hammer on a large Input that causes a polar moment, you're gonna go for a ride. My mr and ff cars feel no different in trail braking in any practical way except In the mr once I commit I gotta stay with it
Nice PR Ravi you are the best! Everyone I’ve had the good fortune of having Ravi in the passenger seat and he’s the best instructor ever!
I haven't instructed in many years!

For sure. Hope they get you started!!! Sharing is caring
Good insights! I want to see all tracks covered, both directions-
I plan on doing Podium Club next in this same layout.
Great video, keep ‘em coming!

Yeah but not much. It didn't phase me much. My main loss of speed was due to rear grip limitations due to worn tires... But yeah! I hope this helped
Now that the golf course is gone can we pleez get more db's
Seriously lol
Any differences for AWD?

@@WDLRacing I have one last question. Does the Apex pro app require a subscription?
