So disappointed in this. The chosen fans here have such lightweight memories of seeing Nirvana. Someone even says that the band was just okay and not the best concert they'd seen. I, was one of those incredibly lucky souls to have witnessed their greatness live in person & at such a unique time in their career. I saw them at their last show in Australia, Feb 7th, 1992 at Selina's, the Coogee Bay Hotel in Sydney. I'll never forget Kurt rolling around on the floor feeding back his guitar during an incredible 17 minute jam at the finale. Novoselic had the high samurai ponytail. The coolest ending to a live show I ever saw was when the band left the stage and Grohl & Novoselic returned to perform an impromptu juggling act to each other from either end of the stage.

So weird to think nirvana was playing just down at the palace

Amazing how conservative many of the people are that you interviewed, Nirvana in Australia was the greatest Gig ever people have tears in their eyes when they remember being there, for many it was the cutting edge and the greatest moment of our lives!

Can you imagine a time when music actually meant something as opposed to the tame social media influenced rubbish we have today

My friends and I went camping at Cooly that weekend with intension of catching a bus to southport to see Nirvana and Femmes at Fishermans wharf.
However the night prior we met up with a local band called The Chicken Skins and naturally got on it massivly at their unit.
Havimh spent all our money and the fact one mate spent the mext day throwing up we decided to see Nirvana the next time they toured Australia.... worst decision.
