This is one I still need to play. Many of the Mana games I need to beat as I beat Secret of Mana (both original and remake), Sword of Mana (GBA), and Trials of Mana (remake). I feel like I would enjoy this one too
In all honesty it does look like it has aged pretty well for a gameboy game! You're a brave man to try get through the series before the new release, I wish you luck my friend!

Ngl the combat looks kind of interesting, always impressed by what these sort of games can offer
Interesting albeit flawed, tho it does thankfully get refined and improved upon with Secret of Mana

there's a pretty neat remake on vita thats much closer to this version than the somewhat remake on gba
