I believe that given the transitions between different woods, it would be interesting to highlight the transition of the tabletop in relation to the rest of the structure by making it appear to float. However, it is necessary to create a bottom bevel with a land and take into consideration the positioning of the dominos. You've gained another follower. Good job
I found me a new builder to follow, thanks that was great. Liked and Followed! 👍🏻 I’m not a builder of furniture, I refinish furniture. I started by accident but was a hardwood floor installer and refinished for sometime before I stepped up to furniture. My ex girlfriend and myself made $100,000 flipping restored furniture several years back.
VERY Impressive Sean! enjoyed seeing how you did the veneer on the top and the edge banding. I'm sure the customer was amazed with the finished product.
One of, if not thee. Most beautiful dining tables I’ve seen. From the choice of materials to the sunburst design. All finished with perfect manufacture and workmanship. Truly a work of art. 👍🇳🇱
What another beautiful table, I have been following you since your first video and it's amazing how your furniture is like a piece of art. Quick question when you were glued the edge band or globe, you're gluing to like a green masking tape? What is it? Be great to see a video of photo shots of your first piece of furniture to your last, so we can see how your woodworking evolved. Keep up all your hard work.
Thank you mate, I appreciate your ongoing support. My work as evolved a lot and I like seeing the journey on UA-cam. The green colour was actually the moisture resistant MDF, which is dyed green on the inside of the board. Thanks for the video idea, I think I'll do something like that in the future.
Glad you liked the table. Well noticed, yes they were in the original design of the inlay, the second version they were removed. I just didn't film the making of the second version.
Beatiful work love the bead on the legs to create an arch. Got a homemwoodworking project involving veneer what tape are you using? I have used blue madking in the past but the cleanup is a nightmare
Great work. I’m in the same business over here in the states. New Jersey. What is that orange tape you use for taping your veneer together? I’m assuming it’s stretchy and thin enough to press. But self adhesive. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing more.
Awesome build really great job! What’s the tape you’re using for the stitching? I’ve been using a super thin 3m brand tape or this yellow washi painters tape - both work well but wondering if there’s better alternatives
@@SeanEvelegh awesome! My first thought was layering a bunch of species into a rainbow plywood type thing and then turning a bowl or something with it.
Very nice. But the starburst has alternating light and dark wedges. You didn't explain how you achieved that effect. Simply turned over every second wedge ?
Glad you liked it. Yes you could achieve a subtle colour change by turning over segments, however I used two different packs of wenge veneer, one slightly dark than the other.
The marriage of a creative designers mind and the skilled hands of a master craftsman. An heirloom piece of furniture. Wonderful!
Thank you for such a nice comment Mike! That means a lot.
Perfect!!!
Absolutely a work of art - precision, imagination, and classic beauty.
Thank you so much Elizabeth. That's very kind.
Good morning 🌅, Very well done, good to see young people, making classic design furniture,
Good morning! Thank you so much, my next project is an antique bench replica, I hope you like it

Amazing as usual! This creation is one of the most coolest dining tables. The client for this must have very discerning taste and is very fortunate.

Incredible table, love the style - Looking at 13.40 and 15.47 is it me or did the globe loose its latitude and longitude lines?
Glad you liked the table. Well noticed, yes they were in the original design of the inlay, the second version they were removed. I just didn't film the making of the second version.

Glad you liked it mate. The tape I use is Tesa veneer tape

How did you get the alternating sunburst rays to show up? Did you flip over the veneer or use a different grain orientation or…?
You can do it that way to get a subtle effect. But I got two different packs of veneer is slightly different shades
Do you do anything with the fall off veneer?
I save all of them. One day I'll make a artistic piece with them
@@SeanEvelegh awesome! My first thought was layering a bunch of species into a rainbow plywood type thing and then turning a bowl or something with it.
@@michaelsorensen7567 That's a good idea. I was also thinking of some sort of wavy wall art
Immense
Cheers mate 🙏
Man, I feel bad for your fingertips with all that tape. Beautiful work.
Hi Williams, ahah you noticed. My hands were dead after that!
