idea: send the gloves to the setup that needs it most. Most of the time the best setup have deep enough pockets to buy their own gloves.
I thought about it, but at the same time I want to encourage "more high end" setups to submit since it makes for better content. At the end of the day, there just isn't much interest in desk setups compared to those very high end ones.
@@OCRacingI dont watch these vids to see how much money people can pour on their hobby. dudes coming up with interesting/new/stupid but works/ghetto ideas, trying to get the very best, the most out of what they already have/are able to afford, being creative, thats content.
High end setups are a bit meh in my opinion, plus it's a bit gauche. I much prefer the ingenious setups which use the space well.

These School kids have very nice Parents with plenty of money.
While I have a Moza R9, ES wheel, SR-P pedals, all mounted to a playseat challenge, and running a valve index from an Alienware laptop with a 2070/i7-8750. I run with the 8k iRatings. Proof you don't need to spend thousands to be fast. No gloves, race barefoot, and most of the time in my underwear.
Everyone pays that much for their setup and then uses crappy speakers or headphones. Why does everyone save on sound? I know there are good headphones, but they ruin your ears in the long run. Of course you don't want to disturb your neighbors, but headphones are really destructive over time and you don't always have to have speakers at full volume.

Honestly I like all 4 sim rigs, they all seem a tad bit improvised (ok the first one is not improvised but profi) but still they seem like they might deliver just that needed immersion and all of them imho include all that one needs - also how I wish I have had a 3k rig when I was a teenager, like if only my parents have had me supported like this, that would have been awesome... well, yup 😀

I don't know if it was the best, maybe best budgeted rig. But DEFINITELY the best presented considering what he had. The alignment of his monitors (or just the way he was able to portray them in his pic) was one of the best I have ever seen, definitely much better than any other in this vid.

OC, im currently retiring from sim racing, life got so busy. I was curious what could i do to make some profit, i have a g920 with upgraded mechanics and electronics. 4 custom steering wheels, rally, drift, gt and f1. as well as a custom resistance mod for the shifter so it actually shifts like a manual h pattern. As well as the rig itself. If anyone interested. please let me know
