@@OCRacing it was all plastic. It made a nice click changing gears but the only way to mount it was with 2 rods....it didnt have any screw holes on the bottom...if i rememeber correctly. Also it was 59.99 new

Hi Oscar, I bought a 6sigma 6s 160. Would you recommend buttkicker or slip angle for the rig? Thanks
Hey! Both are good and it’ll really depend on the price. Usually buttkickers are cheaper individually and I’ve heard better things with regard to their long term reliability. The slip angle on the other hand does provide a more immersive feel but will require more setup which is tedious and will be more expensive. Either way both are good so it really depends on how much you want to spend

I don’t see where the 9000$ of Thomas went. This rig is not worth 9000$.
Also, he should have spent 1000$ less on his PC, going for a 7900 XTX instead of a RTX 4090. These 1000$ he could have invested in a triple monitor setup which would have been much better than the ultra-wide.
Not everyone wants triple monitors, but yeah i think he spent that much cuz he could afford it.

The math for that second setup by Collin ain't mathing for me. There's no way everything he has is $1200. The PC alone is over $1200.
Also worth noting that the orientation of the radiator for the AIO is upside down...

That digital distortion sound effect you put when the text windows pop up on the screen is truly horrible. Sound is anxiety provoking and digital distortion kills speaker cones.
Idk man. I think if I spent a lot on a sim setup, I would want triples and not an ultrawide.

That NLR GT elite’s upright arms are ridiculous, I have the same rig and I took a saw and cut them off and it made the rig 10x better, the cover caps even fit right back on can’t even tell it was cut

If you're new , the Open Wheeler Gen 3 rig is perfect.
Get the seat riser kit , and other cool add on
Belts , keyboard tray and shaker mount ect.

The first subscriber's monitor (thomas) is not a samsung G7. From the size it looks more like the new 57-inch G9 model, otherwise a 49-inch G9.
there is no way that setup is $9k
so i'm saving for my first sim rig and I am torn between getting the tr8 pro from track racer or the gt omega prime cockpit. i know you have reviewed 8020 rigs and the tr8 pro so I wanted to know in your opinion, whats better for someone like me who wants to build their first sim rig to last forever?
No such thing as forever in this hobby. If you believe you will limited on space , time to build and or spend playing , and have a significant other who is picky about aesthetics if it will not be in a dedicated room, maybe the Tr8 pro. Otherwise, if you plan on spending more time in this hobby than avg gamer and value customization as you learn and grow, profile is the way. Hope that gives you more to think about and help.
@@cbdaytona675 I don't have a significant other. And as far as space goes, it's going in my bedroom in between my desk setup and my bed. When I measured it seems like they both could fit. And I'm not going to be spending every second sim racing but at the same time I want to do this. And I won't be doing much customization. I mostly need a monitor mount
