This show has inspired me even at my late age to start dancing I had always wanted to and I've begged for alot of my life and finally my grandma helped me convince my mom that I could do this and I dance now and I love it

I’m pretty sure Sav was supposed to make hers appear later on (at some point you can see her jumping to Brady and as she’s sliding down is trying to break it). They film it twice so that was after they had all the blood from the first time (for the judges)
It’s because the OG team was actually trained by Abby and while her kids were advanced for their ages, they were still just little girls from Pittsburgh. For this team, her and the producers basically cherry-picked from some of the best dancers in the country.
