I’ve had the pleasure of flying in a 747 only once. It was the summer of 1971, I was 9 years old, and my dad booked the flight as a surprise for my mom and I as we traveled back home from California. We were originally scheduled to fly on an American 707. I was disappointed and was hoping to fly on the new jumbo. My dad made the change without us knowing. It was very exciting. The 747 even had a cocktail lounge with a bartender at the rear of coach. It’s something I’ll always remember.
Always love to hear radio communications. The coastline and city lights are amazing. Scary as you climb and head into the ominous dark clouds, trust everything was smooth through them. Thank you for this nice holiday treat Captain Boeing, you rock! ❤️U😎 "אתה הכוכב האחד שמאיר קצת יותר בשמים." לורה צ'וא
@@chrisross9438 - Hi Chris…I don’t know the official protocol, but I would think that the pilots would excuse themselves from the cockpit and go to the restroom or their rest area if privacy is needed. Cheers!
Hi Captain. So great to experience an evening departure with you…the power of those engines. How lovely to see all the lights below…so pretty as you flew over the shoreline ❤️😊
The most deserving plane in the air and no reason to discontinue it. I like the ceremonial hands on and off of the throttle levers. Looks like a ritualistic thing.
Thanks for another awesome departure video!! Captain Boeing, FO, and camera person never disappoint!! Thanks for sharing part of your day with all of us!! Merry Christmas -- Happy Hanukkah!! Cheers and blessings my dear friend!! As always, be safe out/up there!! 💕🌲✈️✈️🌲💕
Lit cockpit and runway and the engine sound and the takeoff are amazing!! The sky is so beautiful too!! Those views are amazing!! Merry Christmas to you captain!!
Super take off & climb out over the beautiful med coast👍 merry Christmas 🎄& a very happy new year dear Captain, the challenge crew & all the Captain Boeing community ✈️❤️😊
Great take off, loved looking at the lights the place below and wonder what it's like down there, no matter where you go. Merry Christmas to you, your family and your crew you work with.
Woah... a Boeing 747-400 with modern mode control panel windows and instruments. I would've thought this was a Boeing 747-8 cockpit if it wasn't for the landing gear lever
1) Hold the yoke with one hand. Checked. 2) Push that lever forward. Checked. 3) Touch my knee. Checked. 4) tap a few times on my thigh. Checked. I’m ready to fly a 747!
At the beginning of this video, the airplane is on the (fairly new, maybe 2010?) taxiway that is direct to Runway 26. One time, I was on that taxiway, but the onboard Haredim refused to sit in their assigned seats. The flight attendants begged them, and promised that it would be sorted out once we were in the air. But they refused, and stood in the aisles anyway. Well......captain decided to increase the speed on that taxiway, and then slam on the brakes! All the Haredim fell on their asses! That's one way to handle the situation!
Captain Boeing I have been a follower of your videos for some years and I have a question that I hope will not offend, concerning a subject that interests me almost as much as aviation. My question is whether, if you were to ever witness while aloft a UFO craft close enough to be sure it is not of human design, you would choose to discuss such a sighting with your colleagues? I fully understand if there can be no answer to this question. Merry Xmas sir, and Happy New Year 2023.
@@CaptainBoeing This reply is appreciated, sir. I will reserve any follow-up questions that may have crossed my mind, until after your retirement. Looking forward to more gear-up and landing videos as always.
Totally Beautiful ❤ Your a Great Pilot Captain, I’m sorry I didn’t get a Chance to wish You a Happy Holiday but I Definitely want to Wish You a Happy New Year ❤️✈️❤️🎉
Very nice as usual Captain. Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you. In all your travels have you ever had a trip literally around the world? Safe flying.
Very nice! I will miss the queens. What do you think the future of Cal will be after March when 747s won't be able to fly to TLV anymore? Will it be the new Challenge 767?
I didn't know that 747s will no longer be allowed at Ben-Gurion. Wow, that's news. I don't know why they decided this rule. I flew quite a few times on 747s to TLV (El Al, Delta, Lufthansa).
@@wotan10950 Unfortunately yes. The israel airport authority says it's to "reduce noise levels around the airport" and reduce environmental impact. Now, A 747 taking off is as loud as an A330 so noise wouldn't really be reduced much. Second, It wouldn't really help with environmental impact as on a daily basis we get an average of 2-3 747 movements mainly being CAL and the Challenge group but we also get the occasional Silkway or Air act cargo but that's only once or twice a week. What I can understand is the other 4 engine aircraft we get here occasionally like the IL-76 and Antonov 124 as those are actually loud and have a much higher climate impact than the '74
Bad camera Commander. The quality of the visuals will make or break your channel against your rivals. Please up your game sir! Your content is outstanding.
80 knots sets, V-1, Rotate. Shukrun, Captain Boeing, I needed a Big Smile. Shukrun. Happy Holidays to My Crew and May You All Have A Safe And Happy New Year. 😊😎✈🙂
Thanks for another great clip. What happens with the weather radar? Some of those cells off the nose look to have some size to them. Is it purely a matter of experience and judgement that tells you not to go around them or are there set criteria? Just curious how it works.
I took a flight from Bradley to MSP a few years back and we had to fly right through the thunderheads almost the entire way because of below and above traffic according to the pilot. Talk about a rollercoaster ride. I hope to never experience that again.
in all his videos, the pilot always manhandle all controls and switches. you need to update the safety training instruction that manhadling leads to premature wear of the controls and switches. they are not made of very hard materials, even temperatue and humidity can degrade them.
We all love the 747, the queen of the skies, iconic plane
First saw one aged 11 at Toronto and totally fell in love….

I think Tel Aviv Israel.
It looks like Ben Gurion, the “quiet runway” 26. Many times I’ve been on that runway!

Great job, Captain! By the way, where were you flying from and to? This was beautiful! Safe flying!
Captain which airport did you take off from?
Captain Boeing how long have you flown? In this video I see you were going over the water's. Just wondering if you were going overseas.

Thanks excellent take off, question from what airport?I notice ocean almost after! Fly safe.

Missing flying in 747
Which airport is this ?💫

What Airline was this?
Do you think you are also later gonna fly the Boeing 747-8?
Sure beats sitting in some boring old office somewhere.😄👍🏾
