My dear friends, kotatsu looks so cozy! It was shown in an Ozu film, i think Tokyo twilight, but i couldn t figure out what it was, now i know. I m impressed by the idea. It s so interesting to watch how people in different parts of the world face the basics of life, cold, winter, animals, plants, time, togetherness, food. I m going to try the sweet potato mochi tomorrow. They look delicious. We ve started with heating too, well, it s not exactly winter but we hope it ll come. Thank you for your sweet film. The kotatsu is a warm place for families to gather and relax during the cold winter months 😊 In the past, they used charcoal briquette, but now they are electric, so they are very convenient.
