You forgot one important mount, the rear one that bolts to the engine block behind the engine, that the Right side CV axle goes through. I replaced that one on our 2003 Sienna and it was a chore. I had to cut the axle shaft in half due to the bearing seizing inside of the mount bracket. That one will take you all day if it has any corrosion on the bearing.

Shouldn't you tighten all bolts except the one on top of the mount before dropping the jack? If you dropped the jack first, then the bolts on the metal bracket that holds engine to the mount would be under tremendous stress and potentially may get bent.

Can broken motor mounts cause excessive vibrating when accelerating and coasting? I have a 2003 Toyota solara

Do you have any videos of how a engine with good mounts move? I had mine replaced only 3 months ago and I feel like they're a bit looser than when they were brand new. I've replaced the dogbone and front mount twice in 2 years. Both mechanics say that the bottom right mount is ok, but I wonder why the first set only lasted 2 years. I have a 2002 Camry by the way.

I watched the entire video, waiting for him to remove the bad mount and show us whether there was any obvious play in it. Didn't happen. Then I waited for a post-installation repeat of the engine brake test to see the difference in engine rise, and it didn't happen. It didn't show what the rubber in the old dogbone mount looked like, either. On a positive note, it was under 8 minutes.
