      I think you're partly to blame for my doing videos again. I feel like I get a lot out of them even when I only get a little out of them... if that makes sense.

      Thanks, man. I'm always telling myself to do more videos and then I don't do more videos.

    I ordered one from Amazon JP just a couple days ago. 153 bucks after tax shipped. So very excited for it. The fact that it is a direct replacemnt for the IWATA i was saving up for, and that the price of the entire brush is about as much as the head replacment on a Micron. You just can't beat that value with a stick.

      I am so excited for you! Let me tell you that I have become MORE excited about the airbrush the more I use it. Even things I thought were a bit of a negative (the size of the cup) are actually a positive.

      @@JayAdan I have an Iwata Hp-Ch as my main brush since it's a comfortable.3mm. the Hp-AH .2mm was my detail brush (close to micron level at about half the price), in theory this will upgrade my detail brush and maybe even put the HP-CH out of business too. I'm planning on switching from the Wicked line to the Createx Illustration line of paints with it. Since I can stop with the harsh chemicals and just use distilled Water to dilute my paints with.

    Would love to see a video on cleaning this brush. It says not to remove the needle or the nozzle? And if you remove the nozzle you can ruin the seal. I have used Iwata, Pashe, and badger and always tear them completely down for final cleaning. So how do you not end up with dried paint in the brush?

      I'm with you. I have always removed the tip for a deep cleaning (and I still will remove the needle) but you can remove the entire nozzle assembly to clear the nozzle without having to risk removing that tiny piece itself (I've lost about 3 of those things over the years after taking it off). I'll consider doing a video but I recommend checking out The Art Workshop as he has a very comprehensive video on this brush.

      You can buy the red seal from tamiya.

    Reduce a bit more and dial in the mac valve a bit. If you prefer the feel of the Micron you can swap the whole head assembly and needle to the micron.

      As it turns out I'm perfectly happy with the Creos airbrush. You can see my latest thoughts in the review I just published yesterday but, long story short, the Creos is amazing and I don't miss the Iwata at all.

      @@JayAdanTotally agree. I love my 771. I would say I ties as my favorite brush with my H&S Infinity.

    I prefer the bigger cup. Easier to clean. Can fit my finger if i have to wipe it with a napkin lol

      Yeah, I totally get that. I've recently started using the CMB again just for long-term comparison's sake and the first thing I missed was the bigger cup.

    mr hobby/ gsi creos/ gunze
    i think iwata and gsi creos are the same company just like lexus and toyota

    • @JayAdan
      @JayAdan  7 місяців тому +1

      I actually did a little digging on the company and I didn't see anything that led me to believe that. GSI Creos is actually their fourth name change since 1931 when they were a silk importer.
