I have been massaging jamaica black castor on my edges for about a month now, along with finally getting a shower water filter and I've seen a slight difference. Keep it up, it really works. ❤❤❤
I can attest that using jbco consistently made my hair grow and made it thick.... so thick it made it hard to style 😫😫😫 something I had to adjust to loll...I will start back with you and massage my edges too!Great video sis!!☺
Did you just use it on your scalp or on your hair also. One side of my hair has always been thinner than the other and I'm trying to get them equal if possible.
@@angelreney3662 I have to mix it with another oil to dilute because it makes my scalp itch bad so I added it to prepoos every wash. I mixed it with olive oil and used it in my hair like she's doing(which still hit my scalp).I'm gonna mix it with olive oil to grease my edges this time too. It still worked out for me. 😊
Love your videos 💕💕💕! I started mixing my oil with my gel in a container and then applying it. I’ve seen my hair get thicker and longer since doing that 😭. That way I don’t miss any stands. That’s what works for me!
Try putting the oil after your styler. I notice that whenever I do the oil first it doesn’t want to hold. Maybe it is the same reason your hair isn’t as soft?
“For me myself my hair I use...” lol I’m saying this all 2020 Me:🗣Yes I use products that has mineral oil in it MY HAIR is still on top of my head so what🤷🏽♀️
Hunnnnay!!!!! You did that thang there guuuuurl. Got me pullin out my jbco nd avacodo oil. Just reminding me of greatness. I see ya, i appreciate ya ❤❤❤
Hey Sis! Hello congregation! Now this is a challenge I can do. I'm not goin waste ya'll time with the other one lol. I don't oil my scalp enough and I experience dryness. I want to start adding grapeseed oil into my regimen to see if I can get more moisture in. Your day two hair! Ma'am.......... 😍😍😍😍
Oh my! I've been a follower on your IG for awhile now. This is the first time I've visited your UA-cam. Our hair isn't similar or anything, but your spirit! My oh my! You are amazing!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks Rayna @happycurlhappygirl for this tutorial very informative. Castor oil is tha “TRUTH”, DEFINITELY will need to try the dark castor oil & avocado oil. Hoping it will help with thickening my hair again. 😫 BTW I simply 💕 your personality! My new bff in my head🤗😊
I love JBCO! I mix rose Mary oil with it promotes hair thickness and my edges are thick now I can hardly find a gel to hold them down Soo that's what's been working for ME 👍 As always your hair is beautiful and you take amazing care of it.Blessings to you 🙌 tfs 🌺
Damn girl! Keep on using the oils your hair is 🔥! Volume shine softness and manageability. This is one of your best looking hair styles to me. I'm here for it!
I saw another YTer mention using oil before her styler and it did seem to help my wash n go from a moisture perspective. But the jury is still out.😀. It is quite cold in the Midwest so moisture is key. Looking forward to hear the results from your challenge.
Ahh!! I think I'm up for this challenge in 2020👍🏾 I usually use almond oil but I'll give the JBCO a try and we'll just see.. I'm excited & waiting for your update 😁😁. Your hair looked FAB 🧡
This fall and winter has been killing my hair in VA 😫 so I started using the as I am oils and so far so moisture! I had to change how I do my wash and gos cause I live to wear my curls out so I had to find a way to continue to do it. I forgot which video it was but Kimberly said that it worked for her to put her leave in/cream in first twist it up do the rest of her hair and Then come back and put the gel in so the moisture can set and then she can do some more defining afterwards. Although that takes a little longer for me it works! And then I started squeezing in oil into the twists and that's absolutely made a difference for my hair.
I use coconut oil under all of my wash and go's-- my hair LOVES coconut oil. I have high po hair and it sucks up ERRthing, so moisture is key for my styles. Your hair looked BOMB, sis! Thanks for sharing!
Yasssss!!! I LOVE your hair !!y hair LOVES castor oil, but like you stated in the video it is so thick !! I am going to start massaging it on my edges as well to see if I can get more growth!!
I have been using black Jamaican castor oil every since I went natural and it made my hair grow like crazy my wash n go's are not the same if I don't use it to seal the moisture in after my leave in conditioner .But what I want to no is what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use your hair is always so beautiful.
Love your hair as usual! I use the LCO method...so once I've added leave-in and cream, I take my favorite oil and smooth it through the sections and massage my scalp. I've received so much moisture and growth this way.
RAYNA!!!!! When I saw the 1st Ray J I was like huh? then the next popped up and I caught on...then the next and girrrrl I cackled SO loud. Totally had to rewind to pay attention to what you were saying!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey sis I see everyone is using oils now,I guess ill switch it .my hair don't like coconut oil either. I'll try the aloe and avocado oil.my hair is fine, castor oil may be to thick for me.but you do sis keep us in the know thanks
Love the way your hair turned out as usual 😍. I think imma start back using the jamaican black castor oil & avocado oil. Why I ever stopped in the 1st place is beyond me.🤷🏾♀️, Lol
That hair is Bee..u tee full!! Really quick have you tired Curls B sculpting gel? I believe you might like it. Of course it's not anything like bae..but its good.
Oil is good for our texture hair, especially the ends and edges but remember castor oil is THICC honey so everyday maaaaaay be a lot. I’m writing this before finishing the video so you may already say this but yea
TBH, I don't use a leave in more often than not. I deep condition, mousse, gel. Hair looks and feels bomb! I agree that the oil on the strands might be better if used last. Experiment!
Sis I honestly don’t think you should waste your time with the soaking wet hair because i say this all the time you damn sure were on to something with that dry wash and go video okay!!!! I find that incorporating a generous amount of oil on moist hair as apposed to soaking wet hair followed by your wash and go combination, taking my time to really smooth the products in gives me the best definition 🥰🥰
That’s not even real castor oil..... the only brand that carries castor oil is Sunny isle. So now you just adding BARELY castor oil and other unnecessary things to your hair.
Hey y’all! I’m excited to implement castor oil DAILY. I’ll update you guys in the community feed on UA-cam :) thanks for watching!!
Where did you find your bottle with the nozzle on it?
happycurlhappygirl where did you get that yellow sweater!! I need it!!!

When I tried this, it was oil everywhere.. the key is not to use too much
Congregation squad yay AMAND!! I’ve started doing that adding castor oil in my wash n go lately and my scalp loves it!!😘
Fortunada Hope yay I’m excited to see what comes from this!
happycurlhappygirl great growth!!😉😘

Wow your hair looks gorgeous. I love oils but usually dont use them before gel. I'll give it a try. Thanks!
When you used the oils before you used the gel do you think that you had less of a gel case or was it just the same? Great review thank you.
We're glad you like our JBCO Xtra Dark! :)
I loved seeing the process you did! Your hair came out so bomb ❤️👏🏽👏🏽

i just put braids in but watching you do your wash n go makes me miss my curls 🤣😭 the struggle is real lol
I used a whole bottle of organic jbco and I did not notice a difference but I’m gonna try it again! ❤️❤️❤️ your videos sis Amand!
Your hair is flourishing so beautiful! Love it! 🙏🏽💕
you should make an amazon shop with your favorite products and hair necessities
Hey girl heyyyyy. I use the same brand just not the extra dark. I will grab it on the way home tonight. Thanks
Try mixing some of the avocado oil with the castor oil. That’ll make it thinner and easier to use.
