No one makes a better band documentary than Cannibal Corpse. If you have not seen Centuries of Torment, you're missing out.
It's an awesome documentary. Grew up 2 hrs from them. Played Syracuse many times back in day. And Sabres fans to boot. Well, at least Rob and Paul.
Mace Steffy Pantera did...
One of my favorites!
yeah, i learned so much from them , especially the members! man, someday i'll bingewatch the hell out of that documentary. it's so good
Centuries of Torment is brilliant. Hopefully there'll be another one out to celebrate 30+ years
These guys are so humble and down to earth. I love watching every video about them. Cannibal Corpse is such an amazing band.
Hey its you
Absolutely, was a big fan back in the 90s, and ended up back here in 2021, Alex is just so good in the interviews, and I thought Chris was great in the COT video, really brilliant doco of a band, in depth, fantastic
But how can you be sure? Maybe they are just tricking people to belive they are nice but in reality they are super evil serial killers just not caught yet
I back this statement 100%. I met them in Copenhagen before a show many bras ago, I can't remember any other bands being these really gentlemen like they are, they gave their time to talk to me.
The most professional metal band ever 👏
Pat O'Brien laughed. Somewhere, a thousand kittens spontaneously exploded.
yay jeg er også dansker:DD
And George Paul & Rob too😂
Shit mann thats what caused my foot to get crushed by a crown cherry picker back in 2013
@@lauragold5561 ага, Мазуркевич аж прослезился 😁
I find it funny how these guys who play such abrasive, uncompromisingly heavy death metal are so......nice! Proper humble dudes who love their fans. I always respect bands like that.
Jez Creed
I thought the same
Jez Creed Heavy metal is music for people with high IQ. That is a fact
+allxtar music Weeeeell. That's not always exactly true xD
+Jez Creed some in the scene are assholes, most arent. I literally chatted with George once about warcraft for at least an hour and had a few beers. dude is killer
+Jez Creed Tis a funny thing. They get all their aggression out with their music, so it kinda makes sense for it to be that way.
Whoever was responsible for editing in George Fisher punching a tornado, thank you so much~
Corpsegrinder , Will kill the tornado with his fucking windmill headbang
"I don't want anyone out there to think for one second that I'm tired, or sick, or anything, even if that's the case."
That's the reality of performing and the mark of a true professional.
You're fucking awesome Alex!
Alex Webster is such an organized nerd i love it
That kid headbanging at the beginning of Hammer Smashed Face XDDDD
Seeing Chris go hug Alex and Paul, that was a really cool moment. I'm glad they've put the beef behind them
The last scene....THAT'S why I think George is the greatest in the business. You can see he wasn't bullshitting his appreciation for his fan gifts by the way he's so careful putting it all back. Shows character, something a lot of death metal artists and fans lack.
still playing six strings. still heavy as shit. fuck all these bands with 54 strings and Drop X#
Too right mate.
They play 6 strings in 7 string standard tuning sometimes even lower
Cannibal have songs ranging from Eb to G#. Tuning is not an indicator of quality.
cleer92 well thank you.
+kit Palmer does that count as trolling
Definitely one of the most exciting bands I've ever seen play live!!!!!!! Alex is insane on Bass!!!!!!!
synchronised headbanging is so badass man
Going on a two week tour every year and I want my own bed. These guys grind like few bands can handle and that’s why they are still selling and still making new fans. This was a great documentary!
You got to if you don’t want a 9-5.
Yeah but I would say this can be much harder a simple job. It is super respectable and incredible even at their 40s here. They are now in their 50s STILL cranking.🤘🏼🤘🏼
Cannibal Corpse is the coolest band ever. They all look like awesome guys, plus I love the music.
websters tone.holy shit.
It isn't all that great. You can't even hear him in the mix unless the guitars aren't playing.
+Queef Bullshit.
No, Alex's playing is definitely audible in the mix. It isn't obvious as how other bands mix bass since it aesthetically blends with the guitar, but it's definitely there and easy to hear if you listen for it.
12:27 that guy is now a legend!
Webster is one of my favorite metal bassists of all time, dudes tone and style is just sick. Love it! I've been playing drums since age 6, when my parents worked and couldn't watch me I would stay with my grandma at her house.. And I was her precious little grandson lol so she let me do what I want and spoiled me. One day I was at her house in the kitchen and I just turned 6 years old, I took out all her pots and pans and just beat the hell out of em with two wooden spoons. The spoons broke and my parents bought me a little drum set.. Well the rest is history.
Pat played a bit in Nevermore and for Jeff Loomis, and now Alex is the bass player for Conquering Dystopia. Fucking awesome. My favorite death metal band is connected to my favorite guitarist.
Seeing Pat laughing as hell was something really new to me hahah
Believe it or not he laughs all the time hes just quiet.
When does he laugh?
@@crossroads2723 On the train
@@tylerdees4169 nice! I would never suspect
@@salottin time stamp?
I want them to play frantic disembowelment live
I do too. They did once. But who knows if they'll do it again. I talked to George a while back. And he said every song has been performed one time.
@@tylerdees4169 Even their instrumentals?
@@DiminishingAugmentation yeah I think so I cant remember that was so long ago.
I know the opened a show with "From Skin to Liquid" quite a while back in the early 2000s or late 90s. Thats 1 down
Frantic is my favorite CC song and they never play it
Greatest mariachi band out there!
I’m watching this, and I’m almost about to cry tears of joy, because for almost 5 years, I’ve tried to see this legendary band numerous times, and every time, something would come up to where I could not go. On October 22nd, I’ll be finally be seeing them. I’m over the moon excited.
Did you see them?
Jason, how was the show?
Commenting so Mr. Smith can share his experience.
I think I saw them around 4 or 5 times since 2000. Mosly in Paris club venues and probably Hellfest festival. I have a coupe of records (Bloodthirst is probably sill my fave) but I don't consider myself a "fan" of this band compared to a lot of my friends so I "accidently" saw this band more than I intended and I have to say one thing: Consistancy, these guys are such professionnals every show was great and I'm sure they will be great for as long as they play. I hope you enjoyed. Total respect for Cannibal
I'm seeing them next Friday 21st April Manchester UK and I've never been so fucking scared in my life hahaha. I remember watching them on my laptop back in 2008 when I was 11 and now will see them playing and maybe catch em and take few photos and have a chat. Mind blowing
They had me rolling when they were all laughing at those drawings. I had no idea Pat even laughed at all since he always seems so unenthusiastic.
I met pat. Super nice guy. Just a bit quiet and shy but super nice guy.
it was so cool to see them reunite with chris for a moment
when they played with dying fetus and vital remains they came to the orange peel in north Carolina and was one of the best shows ever went to never headbanged so hard and long in My life
And Pat O Brien is a fucking incredible guitar player absaloutly amazing guitar skills.
I'll never forget watching CC in a club called The Wash and Slosh back in the mind 90s. It's the only club I knew of where you could get drunk and do your laundry at the same time.
Cannibal Corpse is my favorite band and has been ever since I heard "Butchered At Birth" when I was in high school. I've had the opportunity to see them live and it was brutal. I loved it.
Might not love the growling by itself, but all the instruments played together give them a fucking awesome sound. badass guitar tone too
Chris meets up with Paul, Alex, and Rob. 108:00 AWESOME
Only the metalest of all metal bands ride the fuckin' train!!
50:08 highlight of the tour everybody
These guys seem awesome, really down to earth.
dotty 84 they are all super nice dudes.
If they ever played "From Skin To Liquid" live I'd be content
+Kenneth Donnelly (Stargazer21) They did for the 15-Year Killing Spree DVD.
+Despondencymusic Thanks, I'll check it!
Gallery of Suicide doesn't get enough love in general.
Death Metal in its purest form!!!
I believe Evisceration Plague is the greatest album of all time
Oh man, Behemoth had the same problem with their gear not being shipped, so they had to play with borrowed stuff, hoodies and sunglasses included, zero corpsepaint, and the guys struggled a bit on stage. This happens more often than I imagined.
Cannibal gets me so pumped up, last time I seen them in Chicago, was around 2015-16ish? A dude fell into my leg in a way that tore my MCL. I felt pain, but had so much adrenaline going from the show, I just went crowd surfing. I stayed the rest of the show going ape shit. On the way home the adrenaline high started to wear off and I realized I was fucked up pretty good. Spent the next day at the hospital all day.
Great memories., lol
Damn Pat is fucking awesome!!! I hope he comes back to us.
💯🤘🤘🤘🤘
1:24:32 ....this boy have future!
+Neto Almeida lol
This is NUMBER ONE BAND in Metal industry. No doubt about it.
Damn, they are xtremely good, more than good... Simple the BEST. It's like am listening them for the first time... Xtremely brutal end still on it
Behemoth
Right on!
Nah! Six Feet Under rules!
Welcome to the Cannibal family
@@toasterrobot8566 no
These guys have never made a bad dvd. Class act.
even from my tv speakers the guitar tone is still crushing
До недавнего времени я тоже так думала. Но стоило услышать obscene majesty от devourment - и пришлось кардинально поменять точку зрения... 😁
1:30:51 Corpsegrinder just casually standing there with a straw hat on.
This traveling is very difficult and tiring for the bands. When I played in a band we were on such a mini-tour ones. Only Slovakia and Hungary. Only four days and I had enough. I can not imagine such traveling across Europe like CC. So when you sometimes see tired musicians at the concert, you have to forgive to them :))
1:33:36 Krabathor
Pat is amazing guitar hero👍🤘one my love in metal💟💟💟🤘🤘🤘😈🤘🤘🤘
That SKELETONWITCH shirt is ABSOLUTE FIRE!
It's amazing how friendly they are
These guys are just good people. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Alex is the man! Fucking awesome guy.
Krzysztof Urban I like how he headbangs and windmills
No other death metal band can come close to Cannibal Corpse they are so iconic and Corpsegrinder is a huge inspiration to me 🤘🏼🎸🥁
cannibal corpse is one of the concerts I have been to
what a great band!!! They deserve waay more credit.
This is one of the best music documentaries ever made. This and "Centuries of Torment."
God bless um, these guys put 110% in there music industry, instruments, songwriting, touring, and best of all there fans. Hard work can pay off
This is so great you give us these full dvd:s, cant believe it! :)
That part about the souvenir shops around 2:12:48 is funny: I was in Paris about 6 yrs ago & went to the open public market they have near the Porte de Clignancourt & found a rock tshirt spot & there was a rack that had about 10 diff Cannibal Corpse shirts hanging on it.
This guys deserve a better tour plan! It's impossible to tour in such conditions! No time to sleep or see whatsoever!?...
It's amazing they keep together an playing with full power!
I have much respect for them!
Scattered Remains, Splattered Brains was fckn cool to hear!
There are Death Metal bands I like more musically. As, dudes go you really can't beat these guys. They totally earned their success.
This was one of the best tours I've ever done. Every night was amazing. Not one single ego in this band or crew. The same with 1349, and Skeletonwitch. Genuine. Being included a few times in this doc is a huge honor. Thank you, Denise. You're a saint.
"Don't try to out-Grinder anything, with Grinder."
Upstanding great guys and a great band that have paid their dues through the years...much respect.
They seem to be pretty down-to-earth guys and with a nice chemistry between them. I like to watch how they enjoy what they do.
I miss seeing my boys live.
Honestly...the best death metal band in the world
I miss so much Cannibal Corpse, the last time I saw them was in Mexico City in 2010, amazing sound in stage !!!
Mac Gamboa Disciplina
Best live sound EVER! I saw them at Harpo’s in Detroit MI. Damn that shit was the loudest metal I’ve ever seen/heard live, yet they had the best clarity! And I’ve seen Nile, Vader, Napalm Death & Morbid Angel. And Cattle Decapitation & Goatwhore.
Those tones are amazing. Bravo to the sound guys.
Great DVD/film.
After watching cannibal corpse documentaries… im now a fan, never too late to appreciate them isnt it? But hey… im a metal head! So 🤘🏻
my favorate band ever
and my favorate vocalist george the corpse grinder
I’m a new fan . My buddy introduced me to Cannibal Corpse last year .
I love the fan pics at the end. Just shows We're all one big family
If there were people with some music knowledge and good music taste then cannibal corpse would be as big as iron maiden and bigger than metallica.
To me cannibal corpse should headline every single festival they play unless maiden is playing the same festival :P
Juan Macall fuck Iron Maiden cannibal by far kills them they was good for there time but they are not heavy enough for me death metal baby so much talent
This band is one of the most Distinctive sounds I’ve ever heard still to this day I hear bands that are more recent and they suck their music is shit these guys know how to fucking keep it real keep it fucking sounding brutal true extreme metal music is all about and to me and many old school guys one of the best bands out there keep it up guys one true fans since 1993
the good and old splater death metal from Cannibal Corpse !!!!ever
One of the best DVD,S ever,
Best Death Metal Band! You guys f**king rule! Keep up the great work!
1:24:32 That kid rocks like fucking hell! \m/
Welp, time for me to watch this whole thing.
I have been a die-hard fan of the band since '94 when I first heard Tomb of the Mutilated. Finally, I was able to see them last year when they visited Buenos Aires for the Violence tour. The only thing I regret is not being able to see Pat. I really miss him and wish him the best. If someone couldn't see Cannibal live, they still don't know what they're missing.
Cannibal Corpse has never had a DVD video not kick ass, I serriosly enjoy every single one. The guys are fun, cool, and all around friendly. Strange considering the content of the lyrics and heavyness of the music
2:16:31 One does not belong with all the other metal legends, the trend hopper, one to not let the bastards bring him down
50:09 is the best part by far! Dying still to this day
I couldn't read it, what'd it say?
Guy on a couch said that he is afraid of injections since childhood. And the doctor answers that the patient should not be afraid of anything, because the doctor hunted the bear using fork.
Im dying also super fucking funny.
Grave Descent 🤘☠️
I hope one day these guys play on Long Island in 2021 or 2022 at stereo garden LI in Patchogue I would love this see Cannibal Corpse these guys are my death metal heroes the gummy into death metal.
Corpsegrinder is the only guy that can contest with Phil Anselmo
1:33:14 OH REALLY
Jurmu xD
ALEX IS A DAMN MACHINE
Awesome, thanks for taking the time to share this.
Thank you guys for everything you do
Красавчики...охранительный концерт.
Fantastic dvd and amazing performance.
50:05 One of the funniest parts!
Insanely tight! Wow, any footage of this band is always a blast!
Seen these guys live like 10 times and they never disappoint.
Love the way this is put together, perfect mix of music, and the guys talking and traveling and stuff, wish more bands would make these!!!
Thank you cannibal corpse you make me feel alive, I love you guys 👊🏼✌🏼
I've been a metal fan for about 20 years but never really went with the death metal stuff. I seriously underestimated how good the riffs were from these guys.
Same. I'm 43, been listening to metal since I was 6 or 7. Always said " cookie monster vocals are lame".
What a dummy. Death Metal is exciting and reinvigorating my interest in music.
Fuck yeah, thanks for the upload, saw them at the MetalBlade 25th back in 07 and fucking KILLED it, best pit ever. Most brutal show i have seen yet to date
I saw CC recently live and let me tell you from experience, these guys are that cool, relaxed and approachable. CC rocks!
