I love seeing Mr Corpsegrinder with his glasses, calmly reviewing the lyrics to “Skewed from eye to ear”, probably while sipping a cup of tea. Such professionals.
Legitimately my favorite thing about them! They have such a positive, healthy attitude towards working together and prioritizing communication with each other. They set such a good example for how a band can, and, should, operate.
I’ve watched this so many times and just love it. I pray Erik continues to produce and engineer after the massive loss he and his family suffered from the 2 storms that blasted through Florida. He is a huge inspiration for me. If you haven’t seen Erik’s play through Condemnations Contagion it’s a MUST WATCH. I think it showcases the precision in his percussive rhythm and his fluid ability to transition to his leads, perfectly . I just don’t want to accept or have to even imagine a world without Cannibal Corpse. I know that sound selfish among all that they are going through and maybe it is, but it’s also true, I love their music and I turn them as individuals for their commitment to music. Thank you for doing all of this for us CC.
I love how George Fisher is low-key one of the hugest dorks to ever walk the face of the earth. Quite literally. He's huge and he's a dork. Also one of my favorite people of all time.
I love Cannibal Corpse, but they really haven’t evolved that much since KILL. Because of that I haven’t listened to them that much since. That doesn’t mean they aren’t the kings of death metal. Nobody does it like them.
And still over all the years they still have fun making music.. Eventhough if it is harder the older the guys get. "Chaos Horrific" is an absolute banger. 👍
No wonder this is such a groove heavy album. The bassist wrote the whole damn thing. My favorite CC album changes around from time to time but this one is my favorite right now. Not a riff wasted with these guys. It's crazy how they're one of the original death metal bands and although there's faster and more technical musicians and other amazing bands, they're still quite possibly the best death metal band of all time.
This album is in my top 5 Corpse albums. Probably would place it highly on said list as well. I really enjoyed Skeletal Domain also. Great that this band can still put out sick albums as late in their career as those albums were. Newer ones aren't too shabby either.
erik is a good producer but if they’re gonna set up all of that stuff for demos might as well record it themselves of course now he’s actually in the band makes sense they use him anyways
Thank you for this masterpiece ❤ Its incredible how tight these guys are as musicians and as a band . Pat is an incredible player 🔥🔥 His picking hand ... Fucking Sick ! Love Mr.Rutan but Pat is the Man 💣💣💥
Alex Webster has always been an inspiring musician. I don't even play the same instrument and watching his attitude and skill makes me want to be better
Pat is my favorite Cannibal guitarist. I love them all, but Frantic Disembowelment, Blunt Force Castration, To Decompose, and Carnivorous Swarm are some of my favorite Cannibal Corpse songs
It is sooooo awesome to see how you guys create I don't play death metal the music I make is a weird mix of metal and pop and jazz XD but I love death metal to listen to so to see how you igys go about creating is fascinating
@@cannibalcorpsefanbase I remember when I was like 17 I sent him a message on his myspace about touring with Children of Bodom and he replied in all caps about how he thought Alexi was a good guitar player...
I miss Sir Patrick O'Brien. Met him after a show and he was cool as cool can be. When I got the headlines my head spun. Rutan rules but pats my favorite cannibal guitarist
I was referring to the fact that George has a very high word rate. Remember in 99 when I saw them in France, in 99 or 01, I put myself on the right to be in front of Pat, but that day the bald Jack had decided to take his place ! A childhood ruined by bald men ! After that, we covered an emperor song by changing the title from "curse you all men" to "curse you bald men"! It was for you Jack Owen!
i’m an older pro musician. i really like these guys and think they are extremely talented. but after listening to them for awhile the thing is, most of the time i can’t tell what lines they are playing, i can’t hear the pitches. and i really want to because i can tell the lines are cool. is it how the stuff is mixed, is it intentional, or is it just me?
I love seeing Mr Corpsegrinder with his glasses, calmly reviewing the lyrics to “Skewed from eye to ear”, probably while sipping a cup of tea. Such professionals.
"Through adversity comes the best: just the facts. If this shit was easy, it would probably suck" absolute truth from Erik Rutan
Absolute truth. Recording bass tracks for my band's recent EP was definitely hard but it felt damn good to get them absolutely nailed
i love how professional they are and how much they love each other
Legitimately my favorite thing about them! They have such a positive, healthy attitude towards working together and prioritizing communication with each other. They set such a good example for how a band can, and, should, operate.
It makes it all more heartbreaking to remember what happened to Pat years later.
@@spitefulwaryeah it does man. I was just telling my wife about what happened with Pat like 15 minutes ago while watching this.
Alex Webster is the American Steve Harris. Badass bass player, composer, and awesome dude!
Steve Harris is the British Alex Webster.

Great comparison. I'd say Alex is the next generation version of the maiden bassist.

Corpsegrinder is the single most wholesome person in music.
Cool to see how they changed some things up for this album (particularly Paul). Turned out to be a classic album! One of my favorites from them.
It brought the younger crowd to you. It’s just perfect.
Every single time these guys put out a album it is a masterpiece! They are incapable to put out a bad song!
I love Cannibal Corpse, but they really haven’t evolved that much since KILL. Because of that I haven’t listened to them that much since. That doesn’t mean they aren’t the kings of death metal. Nobody does it like them.
hasnt been a good album since 94
Cannibal Corpse definitely puts out the Cannibal Corpse of Cannibal Corpses
@@user-pl7lr5dn8q
Good joke
i cant make it thru any somgs after 94. The vocals ruin it. Sounds to much like a hardcore band
Having Eric in the band now is a great progression for CC
gotta give appreciation to how they all worked together and make shit happen 🔥
Agreed and I have a real appreciation of that being in a band myself especially when we're recording and how frustrating things can get
And still over all the years they still have fun making music.. Eventhough if it is harder the older the guys get. "Chaos Horrific" is an absolute banger. 👍
Alex corpse
Cannibal Webster
Lmao, yep
😊😊@@eightfifty2309
Everyone in that band is talented and have contributed greatly to the band. Pat is a monster on the guitar as well.
Oh no they have a major songwhriter apart from every other band ever..
Alex Fuckin’ Webster, Super Genius.
Erik has done so much for the DM community, just like Scott Burns 🤘🏾🔥💞
Eric's approach to the tones on each instrument really shows in the final product.
Thanks for combining all of these into a single video

Eric is sick!! The last two Vital Remains albums are sick!! His band Hate Eternal is badass too!!
You gotta admire Rutan's positivity
5:05 It's great to see the poster when they came to Chile with Death in 98, good memories

Evisceration plague is one of the greatest fucking songs ever created in metal history!!!!❤❤❤❤❤😮😊❤❤❤❤❤
Now i can't forget George with those glasses on 😭😂
Best death metal band ever. Period!
Ah, the good old days when Pat was still in the band.
At least we can remember how this awesome album (probably my favorite from CC) came to life.
a cauldron of hate is so great it’s crazy alex thought it didn’t stack up at first.
This is my favorite album of theirs. It's just got that punch to it. 😤
erik is a good producer but if they’re gonna set up all of that stuff for demos might as well record it themselves of course now he’s actually in the band makes sense they use him anyways
The best death metal band in history,no contest.
I love how these guys are just a bunch of laid back goofs who are fucking KILLER musicians.
This album had great production as did Kill the tones were sick

Excellent video and great to see Cannibal in the studio putting their albums together. Definitely my favourite Death Metal band

These guys work so hard and it always pays off!
I bought this album when it released from FYE at the mall.
6:08 that is quite exquisite. a true scholar studying
I remember buying the album at Hot Topic. I miss the days when a CD was $12 lol. Shit, I miss the days when CDs were still a thing.
Yup this and torture are some of the last store-CDs I've bought sadly lol
I got mine at best buy. I also found in the nightside eclipse there back in 08. That was the most out of left field find i ever got there
''Birthday yesterday, death day today'' - I died haha
Thanks for putting this together! Fuckin rad

Eric on youtube playing condemnation contagion is a monster..love his inclusion in the band.
Their dynamic is the envy of other bands.
Alex is a Freaking Intellectual Musical Genuis
I always love coming back to this!!!! Love you all my brothers!!!!!
Rob, Erik and Pat in the same room...
Man... what a time to be alive back them hehehehehe

When more thought goes into one bass line on one song then goes into the entire pop genre
im on the hunt to find Paul tiger stripe drumset and hand it to him personally.
Paul is one of my favorite death metal drummers.
My fav death metal band!❤
TRULY a special band.
Kings of Death Metal
I like Erik's easy going fun personality I imagine that helped with the process.
Alex Webster is such a beast with that Spector bass
It's like if cliff burton lived
It's also what i thought buddy.. 😀🧠
Evisceration Plague is a Masterpiece.
This is my favorite Cc album
What wholesome home video, very nice.
Has anyone actually interviewed Pat O'Brien since his Night of Destruction?
I don’t think so... he’s not a public person at all, he doesn’t like to give interviews, he doesn’t even seem to have social networks.

ALEX IS THE STEVE HARRIS OF DEATH METAL. A HITMAKER

Is that a Buffalo accent that Rob and Chris Barnes have? They speak pretty much the same way...
Alex have New-York accent too
Rob - "Pat is doing most of the rhythm tracks since his picking is so tight".
Also Rob - "Pat does most of the leads"
Come on Rob 🤣
