How is no one questioning how my man managed to catch a skunk???
Who doesn't love a good skunk?
Skunks are actually normally very tame in public areas. As long as it doesn’t feel threatened they’ll let you play with them. If you startle one though it’s gonna be bad.
I pet them all the time at the boat ramp I use by the house. And raccoons around that ramp are actually the same way. They’ll literally let you pick them up like a dog or cat. 😂
Probably because of fishermen feeding them
I’m guessing that one is a pet though
It's a pet with stink glands removed
Great video nice pike why are there less pike now then there was years ago i noticed that catching big ones in the 90s and now they seem smaller
Good question!
What are the best times of day for Pike fishing in late summer? My dad and I have been to two lakes and got skunked both.
And salt in the wound was the first lake, fish were actively jumping but wouldn’t take any of our baits... except one who chomped the tail off dads rubber fish lure. 😑 😆
Where you fish
Will a pike die when hooked in the tongue and if it does how do you avoid it
No it will not, unfortunately, there is no way to avoid it!
@@LarrySmithOutdoors ok thank you so much
@@kyrios6820 No problem
It’s a kitty
😂😂😂😂😂
What state is this lake in?
Wisconsin I believe
Wyd fill
???
Why do you even bother to catch it if you aren't going to eat it
Why don’t you use baitcasters
Sometimes I do, just depends what I have I the boat!
Is this the fox lake in illinois? Live close but never fished it. Great vid by the way! Subscribed.
Northern are so fun to catch. Great video relaxing setting.
Fun to catch and great to eat!
Hi I need some help, I’m fishing a lake with big pike and I know where they are but no matter what lure I put in front of them they won’t bite what lures do you think will get the picky ones to bite
Thought that skunk was foreshadowing
This little skunk is sooo cute ^^
I just started fishing again this late spring/summer since I was a kid. I was trying for bass but, i keep getting pike. I had such a hard time unhooking one guy and really over stressed him out. I felt terrible but, i didn't really know how to handle a pike. Especially one hooked so hard. Im watching videos like this to make sure I dont do that again.
Sometimes they take it good man not much you can do!
Awesome video and information 👍 Notification Squad 🔥
Watching this in hopes of catching more pickerel.. they fish the same right????
I’m so Glad you made this video, I kept pike fishing before this video and couldn’t get anything bigger than a 24 incher so thanks for the video, any tips on how to get some bigger ones.😀
Glad I could help!
Been bass fishing most of my young adult life. Ive always tried to target pike with no luck. I recently found a ditch pond that holds smaller pike and ive been trying to catch one for weeks with no luck!
Keep trying!
Good catch girl!!!!

Of course! Thanks for watching!
We’re was this filmed me my buddy live in Indiana and are planning a trip to try and catch our first pikes
He said fox lake. It’s in central Wisconsin I believe
if you have your drag set properly to the fish they won't jump up... it's cool when they do but that just gives them the opportunity to spit the hook or injure themselves.
Appreciate the insight Rich 👍
That's a pack of cigs a day voice
Who's voice? 😂
Quality video mate deserves more views!

What was the type/brand of net you were using? Thanks in advance.

I can just tell by their accents that they’re from Minnesota. I was hoping they were Canadian.
Wisconsin actually 😁
How can people who wear sponsors and drag all that sponsored shit around with them enjoy fishing... holy shit i would go insane after a single day
Because we truly enjoy fishing and educating others
Terrible technique removing the hooks, your ripping most of the trebles through the pikes teeth. Their teeth will break easily... !! No teeth means fish cant hunt and dies slowly !! ... even in summer chin the pike, allow his mouth to naturally open and simply pop it out.. also , if u like pike then use barbless hooks man. . U seem like a good person ! .. its just my opinion.. which probably means nothing!!!! Tight lines and Be safe ! 😇 oh,, btw, you do have great fishing tips etc.. !! 👌👍
Ok Ken
Big Pike in eagle lake WI too
