Finally, a decent review for this stupid bag that I've been eyeballing for a while that I definitely don't need but absolutely want. You're also the first folks to even mention/show the pocket on the weird flap thing for the roll top AND the secret mesh pocket.
I just found you guys yesterday and already you have put out a FANTASTIC bag review. I have been looking for just the right bag recently and i think you may have just shown me the one to buy for our summer hike and camping trips. Great video. more importantly i really dig your personalities 👍👍
I definitely think it will fit the 80d/5d with the ef70-200. It fits my Eos R and 70-200 with room to spare. However if you have the battery grip on the camera its not deep enough. Thanks for commenting!
Just found this video today. I'm intrigued by this bag. Would love to see a 'What Fits' video on this one. Maybe even your thoughts on an out in the field trip or a comparison with the Wandrd. My main travel backpack is a Whistler 350 aw ii, which is built like a tank and has been great for getting my gear from here to there on a week or longer overseas or domestic trip and then to have available for a long trek where I wanted to make sure I could bring along everything I might actually want to use, but I'm a really old fart and it's getting to be just too heavy, encouraging me to leave things behind. I also have a Miggo Agua Stormproof 85, which is a rolltop, and have used it as well for distance hauling, It's pretty comfortable to just walk around with, but I find it really difficult to configure the bottom storage space efficiently and attach a tripod, so it ends up sitting in my closet gathering dust. I have taken to packing a Thinktank Turnstyle 20 (version 1) in my luggage and end up using it a lot for just walking around urban environments or short hikes. For now, that's my solution to having the best of both worlds when I travel.
We have a field test with this backpack airing tomorrow. It is an excellent bag but might not be good if you are used to filling a whistler. I almost would recommend the Pgytech OneMo as a first step. I took this one a few places this summer and it was a great travel bag and hybrid camera and travel backpack. Try to catch our field review and we have shot the shorts on this one “what fits.” It should be airing soon. Thanks for commenting
I really hesitate between the thule 24l and the 32l. At the airport, the 24 passes for sure as cabin luggage. This one might but definitely not always. This one has definitely more room and fits my 15.6 laptop. The 24 will carry less and I don't know if ma Pc enters. The 32 is a bit heavier empty than the 24... the 24 can be a super everyday backpack as well (although I have a good one, not as good as ths Thule but lighter) , whereas the 32 cannot DO you think a 15.6 Pc enters ? Nice that you can fit your gimbal. I don't know if my weebill 3, in it's lighter configuration fits. Might be
It is always tricky with how hard the airlines are with their rules, some will approve the inner bag as a personal item so you can put more in the actual bag or limit the weight on your carry on luggage. The laptop compartment on the 24 is 38.5 × 26.5 × 3.1 cm Pc computers come in many sizes so it is better to measure your specific one. If you carry the camera cube on the side there should be plenty of space for a gimbal in the main compartment.

I loved the intro of the video! Nice backpack!
Do you think it fits a Canon 80D/5D with mounted 70-200mm??

I wonder, how rain-resistant it is??
Is the cube strap comming with the backpack? Warte is it hidden?
Yes it is! We found it behind the cube.

Nice information :)
It seems that the side access is small, how accessible is it?
Actually smaller than most but it manages my Eos R5 with a 70-200 ok
