This looks like the answer i've been looking for in terms of dual use, shooting/travel. the naming is a bit confusing as you have an older version called Thule Rolltop Covert DSLR Backpack that looks almost the same. When googling for reviews of the new version, i'm getting reviews from the older model. Great work on the bag though!
This bag is almost perfect. Almost because I’d love it to be a bit more ventilated, I mean for hiking. But it seems already ok for hiking, and perfect for photography. Oh and I just have a question : can I put a rain cover on this bag ?
Have you actually tried to put a laptop and tablet in there and then close the back zipper? Right, because its not really working :D The zip doesnt close properly then.. Ill see how long it lasts. Second thing is the outside material. On the black fabric you see every dust particle which is not really the best on a official shoot with customers. I also would've wished for a water proof one for such expansive equipment... So overall i am a bit sad that I bought the new one because it was so expensive. What I liked though is that it has a hip belt!! The other one didnt have that but my equipment is really heavy when i work with it for 8 hours or so. So yes. Please test it with several or your laptops before you buy it..
Hi there! This is mainly a camera backpack but it is rugged and can handle the outdoors well. Please note that it is water resistant and not water proof. Best, Thule
Ich habe etliche camera bag, keiner is perfekt. Ich würde den thule sofort kaufen, aber der seitliche Zugriff ist leider auf der falschen Seite für mich, sehr schade. Grüße toni
Hello Saroot, thank you for your interest! Thule Covert 32L backpack weights 2.14 kg without anything packed in it. Please take a closer look at it on our website: www.thule.com/en-us/backpacks/camera-backpacks-bags/thule-covert-dslr-backpack-32l-_-3203908
Thank you for your question! Thule Covert backpack are water-resistant, this means that they resists to the elements, also you will have enough time to find a shelter in case of heavy shower rain.
NO! all you guys had to do was to put a hip/waist belt support and make the backpack a bit lighter from the original covert backpack. The side camera access is too limited now. All the little pocket storage and dividers looks gimmicky now (Side note: more exposed pockets = more concerns whilst traveling). This won't be popular, I'm not sure what the targeted consumers are for this backpack. There are better choices for travel camera backpacks at this price point. I've gone through 2 Covert backpacks since 2015, been waiting for this update for a few years now, this is unfortunate.
Hello Khoi, thank you for your comment! We appreciate your feedback regarding Thule Covert. Please note that there is hip/waist belts on both the 24L and the 32L version. If you fast forward to 2:48 then you can see where they are. Thanks again. Best, Thule team
@@thule I saw that. I was just pointing out other flaws and that the perfect upgrade would have just been weight optimization, hip/waist strap for comfort with a full load. Just some feedback from a long time original covert user. I really wanted to buy an updated version : (

They did not answer you - the question with the most likes 🙃
Nice company 👍
I own this bag and loving it! Only thing i concern now is whether this bag can pass to enter cabin for a flight with european airlines?
Does it fit a Canon 80D with mounted/dismounted 70-200mm? If so I think it will be my best fit :)
When’s the next sale on this. I feel silly for missing the recent one for about $220. :(

@@thule thanks for the response. Just pulled the trigger on one. Can’t wait to give it a rundown.
@@mightydagon Excited for you to try it!
@@mightydagon So how was this bag?
@@Sam_Leo1idk my son took it and basically made it his before I could give it a proper rundown. He seems to like it though.
Hermosa mochila pero no esta pensada para Latimoamerica.
This is a gorgeous backpack, but for the same price you can get the McKinnon bag, which is already overpriced.
