- Since a few weeks we are living here in this cabin in our favourite mountain area of Norway. In this vlog I'm sharing some impressions of the stunning nature that we have around here, our first trip to Røros after two years and the process of settling in and making ourselves at home. I also move around a lot looking for my forever place with my 15 year old cat called Dumpling. It is hard at times, and sometimes I feel lost and lonely, and just watching you create your home with your things you have with you, is what I also do and then I am home. Thank you for your video. Leena, you are so skilled, so talented. There are so many shots that took my breath away, the transitions so smooth, the music choice perfect. I am delighted you have such a beautiful place to live in, for now, as you say. It is a cold November here in Ontario, CA, with snow on the ground, and grey filling the sky. It's really beautiful there 😊 And the color of the cabin, brown with red around windows is typically Norwegian cabin colors.

Vorgestern war hier in Norddeutschland ein so scharf-kalter Ostwind, dass ich nicht vor die Tür wollte, aber jetzt ist es einfach nur schön kalt und weit angenehmer. Zeit, es sich drinnen gemütlich zu machen :)

The spot you found seems truly magical, it's something serene in both your surrounding area and Røros itself. It's visible how happy and at peace this place makes you feel, even if it's still temporary. Leena, your voice! It’s so incredibly calming and soothing and healing. It is pure medicine! You should do audiobooks for authors about mindfulness, relaxation and reducing anxiety and self fulfillment.
There’s a lot to be said for an open vast view. It becomes a companion, ever changing with the seasons. Before you were inside a forest surrounded, here it’s spacious and open - a different perspective

This time has something magical, it forces us to slow down. Everything takes a little longer, a bit more effort. The daylight is shorter. Joachim: I am 55 year old, started driving at 12 when my father died and my mother decided she can not be the only one doing it if an emergency happened. I learned in Argentina and now living in the UK (and maybe next year in Norway...). I have experience with cars, light trucks (or pick ups, your choice), some trucks (in private land only), I am a forklift driver with experience in different equipment, and never became comfortable driving in my all life. And I lived in a van for around a year (and planing to go back to van life once in Norge). Do not push yourself or let others to push you beyond your comfort level. Practice and you will get it.

Dear Leena, Thank you so much for the beautiful video. Your new home is breathtaking. I moved also back in July , it takes a little while to get settled. I love me new place from the moment I got here for now its home until God moves me again.

I lived in Norway for years, am fluent in Norwegian also. As an American, I observed Thanksgiving while there; however, they don't.
