I lived in Vermont for five years. There is nothing like fall foliage in New England...Nothing. Yes leaves change all over the country but the combination of low mountains (all deciduous trees), low human population so large wooded areas, unspoiled places and of course one small quaint town after another just makes fall a spectacular season there!

I could live in that cabin all year round. Love your pup. He reminds me of my Bubba. A yellow lab mix. He's gone now. When I was young we went to Vermont and New Hampshire every year camping. We had a Nimrod camper. Not as nice as your cabin but I was a kid and didn't care. Autumn to me is the best time of year. So beautiful.

I’m writing this from a cozy little cabin in Tennessee, tucked in for the night after a day of hiking the smokies and capturing the very last of the fall foliage here. The fire is on and the string lights are up, a cup of something warm is between my hands. Heaven on earth.
I never thought the stars would align to let me have a trip like this, let alone with everyone I love, but they have. And in no small part because of you and your videos. You exposed this city girl to the peace and tranquillity of nature and simplicity. Slowing down, appreciating everything around me, especially the little things. Ever since I found your videos I’ve longed for a cabin, a fireplace, and some beautiful walks through the woods. Now, that longing has finally been satisfied. Though I don’t doubt for a second it will return sooner rather than later.
I’m happier and more satisfied than I’ve been in many months. I’d just like to say thank you for inspiring me. Please keep doing what your doing, the world needs more of this.

I was born and raised in Windsor, Vermont, my parents were both born in Westmore, Vt. Close to lake Willoughby, which is where we vacationed.

Your videos are simply magical. I have lived in large cities and small towns as well as rural areas and I've seen most all the country, visited almost all the states except this area. I am planning a trip to the New England area, been on my bucket list but after seeing your videos I just want to move there and really enjoy the natural beauty.

I did some looking on Zillow, and houses on the lake are pretty expensive, $1M USD and up. But there are lots of equally beautiful smaller lakes in the area with homes on the water in the $300,000 USD range.

I lived in New England and went to college there also. The whole of New England looks like this. I was on the crew team and rowed/practiced on the Connecticut river and remember the beautiful crisp, fall mornings surrounded by foliage
Westport, Connecticut where my Oldest Son and his family live is just like this small town- soooo Beautiful❣️🥰🧡🍁🤎🍂🐿 I just find it Magical💙🧡🍁🤎💛🍂🍁some Christmases we stayed at the old Country Club there- very inexpensive and close to my Son’s house and right out of the 1930 -1940s White Christmas- MAGICAL💙

I went to a cabin like this in last October and I’ll tell ya it was the most peaceful calm atmosphere u will ever experience. Trout fishing wasn’t too bad but it just a bit windy. But when the wind calm down and the sun start to set. It like a dreamland !

I grew up in the Lake Winni area. Late high school, early college I worked on a boat called the m/s Mt. Washington that does scenic tours on the lake. It runs between Weirds Beach, Wolfboro, Center Harbor. We were always out on someones boat or staying at someones cabin if we weren't working. There's an island called Rattlesnake Island you can climb to the top of, highest island on the lake. We camped up there one night. One of my favorite memories was the sunrise the following morning, still, calm, soft light, it was beautiful. Great to see a slice of home. Some of the best memories of my life are from that area.
