- I ordered the EGO 24 Hedge Trimmer from the HD app for 99.00 and free shipping. It feels very balanced and sturdy, like the other EGO equipment I have. My 21 inch Self propelled mower is starting on its 3rd season as strong as ever. So far I really love the EGO family. Say No to gas!

Mike McCune I think you're going to love it. The 1" throw really let's you cut some really thick hedges. Let me know how you like it.
KC Hughes will do. I have a new home and a young yard so it won't get a real workout for the first few seasons but if it is like my other Ego tools I'm sure I will love it
Just bought this same trimmer and I already have the same exact other EGO tools as you. Great stuff. How did the hedge trimmer hold up when you did some serious cutting with it? How long did the battery last and what size battery did you use? Thanks for the review.
Rick S it's awesome! As I suspected, the 1 inch throw made it effortless. Even cutting small tree limbs. So glad I bought it. So far EGO hasn't let down on any product.
Does the thumb safety have to be depressed the whole time to operate? Or can you release it and still use the handle and grip safety? Thanks

As with all my EGO products, excellent. With the exception of my leaf blower, the battery life is exceptional. I guess some tools consume power at a higher rate than others Much like my Ryobi tools, the battery last a long time in every tool except the jigsaw.
I use the small battery for the hedge trimmer and it last a long time. Hope this helps. Any questions, just ask.
