I have become a regular viewer by now and I just can’t help being super enthusiastic whenever you put a new new video. don't waste tempi! Absolutely! It is easier said than done though and I thought it would be good to do some intuition-building by showing how it works in real games.

I rarely lose when I'm playing as black, not that I play grandmasters or anything! I just find that whites mind is usually focused on their own plans, if that's the case, you can easily prepare an attack that looks like its defending their play. Great videos by the way!!

I love your channel and as a beginner chess player myself I also find these videos very educational. I would love for you to do a video on famous chess blunders or mistakes but the player managed to recover and not loose the game. A good friend of mine and a pretty solid chess player once said "good players play and make no mistakes,great players know how to get out of trouble when the mistake is made"

It really adds a level of difficulty when playing IRL chess, not having a perfect birds eye view of the board.
yes but it helps train your brain to do both. You want to reach a point where the chess set is in your mind. You don't think with your eyes. They are just there to give you the information. If you practice with both a real board and a computer board it will help your brain a lot.

It's a standard tournament wooden set, I believe. One will cost you around 40 to 50 dollars.
Negative. That is a DGT Electronic Board. They go for $450 approximately.

Isn't there a rule that prevent you king from castling if if had been checked before ?
you cannot castle if he has moved before
and not when he is in check, so basically yes
@@prussiancountryhuman Oh okay, I see why white could still castle in the first game then
not quite. If the king (or relevant rook) has moved he loses the right to castle. Also you cannot castle WHILE you are in check. But if you just block the check and don't move the king you can still castle later.
