  • Why is white always winning in chess videos about famous games? And how can YOU get ahead when playing as black? This video showcases 2 games as examples of how to play energetically with black to punish inaccurate play by white.     You were the main reason I started playing chess. You always made it so interesting and unique. I felt like I was transported into the game.     I have become a regular viewer by now and I just can’t help being super enthusiastic whenever you put a new new video.     I rarely lose when I'm playing as black, not that I play grandmasters or anything! I just find that whites mind is usually focused on their own plans, if that's the case, you can easily prepare an attack that looks like its defending their play. Great videos by the way!!

    I love your channel and as a beginner chess player myself I also find these videos very educational. I would love for you to do a video on famous chess blunders or mistakes but the player managed to recover and not loose the game. A good friend of mine and a pretty solid chess player once said "good players play and make no mistakes,great players know how to get out of trouble when the mistake is made"

    It really adds a level of difficulty when playing IRL chess, not having a perfect birds eye view of the board.

      yes but it helps train your brain to do both. You want to reach a point where the chess set is in your mind. You don't think with your eyes. They are just there to give you the information. If you practice with both a real board and a computer board it will help your brain a lot.

      I would love to make 3 videos every week but then I would have to make UA-cam my full-time job and it's not making me a lot of money right now.       It's a standard tournament wooden set, I believe. One will cost you around 40 to 50 dollars.

      and not when he is in check, so basically yes

      not quite. If the king (or relevant rook) has moved he loses the right to castle. Also you cannot castle WHILE you are in check. But if you just block the check and don't move the king you can still castle later.
