My spirit animal
Australian here, they're generally pretty common all over the place. I'm located in the inner city area of Melbourne and I'll often see them hanging out on the power lines on my street. They're pretty chill and don't spook easily. They also get a little larger than Kirra is, so it's definitely quite a sight in the middle of the night. We love our Tawnys here.
We have one in the yard for the past few weeks, he moves around a bit so always a surprise when you spot him sitting there looking at you

Are they related to photos?
Is the tornyfrogmouth related to the Potoo ?
Potoo birds and Tawny frogmouths are closely related!

Although closely related, Potoo birds and Tawny Frogmouths are actually different species.
