Nice update Neil. I think the fact that your Monti's are encrusting is always a positive sign for your tank. For your Zoas that are reaching, if they haven't attached to the rock yet, try moving them closer to the light. For your algae I'd recommend either having your sump light come on an hour earlier than your tank light and go off an hour later, which should promote algae growth even more, but in your sum, rather than your tank. Alternatively, increase your water change amounts by an extra 50% for a few weeks to really drop your nitrates, as your algae may be consuming it and giving you false positive readings.
Thanks Peter. Great advice! I will do that with the Refugium light. They currently come on 11pm to 1pm and that’s opposite to the display lights but can put them on for an hour either side longer. The Zoas are unfortunately attached to the rocks so may need to look at a light upgrade soon 😌
Hello Neil, the tank is looking great, loved the video, your zoas are huge, dont think I've seen any that long before! Keep up the great work and look forward to you joining us on Friday again! Was great to have you in the chat with us last week! 👍
Thanks Ross! Really appreciate that mate. Yeah they were never that long. I was told last week that they do this when they are reaching for light. The Radions are £365 each so they will have to keep reaching for now 😄
Neil, great update and love the rockwork, with plenty of room for loads more coral. If you are looking for some great coral that is colourful and pop under blue try chalice, although they do sting other coral close by. Catch up Friday 🔥
Thanks mate. Really appreciate that. They have some lovely chalices at my LFS and definitely plan to add some. Want this tank looking like a big rainbow 🌈😌. Looking forward to Fridays stream
Are they giraffe zoas? Tanking is looking well - so you recommend a blenny. I will take a look, but surely it's not as good as a Jawfish. Hope to see you on the live next Friday. Keep up with the great content.
They definitely got long necks mate 😄 100% recommend a Blenny! Mines a Bicolour Blenny but also love a Midas Blenny. If I had to pick between a BlueSpot Jawfish or a Blenny, it’s no contest 😁 But I think you should get both 😌 Thanks mate. I’ll be there next Friday. I’m loving it? 🙂
Great video again buddy, yeah your sporting the Darren Huckery ex Norwich player hair do! 😁 nothing wrong in that!! Taken alot of advice from your videos. I've just got a mandarin and been adding live ones to my chaeto is that how you do your s, mine also eating frozen mysis shrimp which is a good back for food. Does the all for reef keep everything stable or do you dose other stuff too?
🤣🤣🤣 I remember Huckerby. I add the packs to the display sometimes and sometimes in the sump. I always worry that the filter floss I have will stop them going into the return from the Refugium. Thats good he eats Mysis mate. I did dose Alk on the side but thats only because the doser wasn’t working. Now I dose 4ml AFR morning and night and its now stable 😌. Thanks for your support as always 🙂👍🏽
Hi Ashley, yes I can mate. Wanted to give it at least 6months of using it to give it a fair review but I think it’s close to that now so it’s on my list. Thanks for the idea 🙂
Totally agree on the blenny, plenty of character, have a bicolour and a tailspot . Your rock flower looks like it’s happy. Great update.
Thanks mate! Tailspot Blennys are awesome! 🙂

Looking excellent mate .Why do your lights keep going up and down?
Thanks mate 🙂 It must be the camera phone. I noticed this when I watched it. I need to invest in a proper Camera one day 😁
If you swap your lights get 2 radion xr15 blue 👍
That’s exactly what I will be getting 😌
