Note: to those unaware your bad plant experience could be due to US Customs going through your box. I have imported once and you could tell all the “bad” plants were due to customs ripping them out of the packaging. The ones that IS Customs didn’t open were perfect
Yes very true! They didn’t take any of the plants out of the packaging but they definitely could have been ripping through them disturbing them! 😭 but I’ve heard a few people say that customs have opens their plants!
Hi, i love your unboxing video. I wanted to purchase hoya’s from Thailand but i have questions: 1. Where are u located at and how much did you pay for shipping fee? 2. How many plants are you allowed for a single transaction? 3. What are the paperworks you need as a buyer prior to purchasing? Thank you
Thank you! So it’s actually pretty easy! I’m in the US and shipping is 70-75 USD from most international exporters. In the US you can get up to 12 plants and they do all the paperwork on their end. We need a phytosanitary certificate here to get plants from over seas and some companies include it some companies it’s an additional 25-35 USD. I also have an import permit which makes it so I can buy more than 12 plants in a single order. I can get as many as I want but this does not substitute for the phytosanitary certificate you will always need that which again is paperwork on the shippers end. You only have minimal paperwork (which I wouldn’t even call it that lol) if your using your import permit and buying 13+ plants. Then you have to send them a label and make sure they package properly according to your countries regulations. Thank you so much for watching. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask away! 😁
@@NailzByA thanks for an informative answer ☺️ i’m from Canada and started collecting hoya’s (which are pretty much expensive in my area, lol) definitely will watch your videos as i find it entertaining and informative ☺️
Very nice cuttings. I can already see the dark edges so the sun will def emphasize that. So what does the company do when one of the plants arrived damaged?
I had an order that nearly every plant was dead and they refunded me. When plants are missing I’ve never had an issue getting my money back for those either. Plants have been missing from most of the ordered I have ordered like 1 or 2 plants never many prob went out of stock but they always refund. They took a few days to respond this time I had to send 3 emails but when they did respond no issues for the missing plants! There’s a few kinks with the company but overall they have great prices and I’ve had more good than bad experiences.
Yeah the unboxing Quuen, had to comment and I’m one plant in🤣🤣the rosita, I have that one from Hailey hoya, it really gets red edges💚💚. Back to the video😂🤣
It was on my radar to for a little I just couldn’t bring myself to pay an outrageous amount for that one though lol but they have it here now so next time your looking to place an over seas order...😁 lol
Hello, when did you send in the import permit and how? I want to order some cuttings but it doesn't say anything on the website and I've just emailed them.
@@NailzByA I have the import already and want to order more than 13 cuttings but not sure how to send it to the company. Is it before or after you place your order? By email right?
Actually PlantyPrincess pronounced it exactly right. Only in english it would be Day Nang, but in it’s native language it is said as “Da Nang” not “Day Nang”
Thank you for that information! It’s so interesting that the same words are pronounced differently depending on language and even sometimes regions! Thanks for watching!!
Which was your favorite Hoya?! Do you have any of these Hoyas in your collection? Let us know how you care for yours!
I like the Teddy Bear one!
Gorgeous!!
Awesome you got the Perak Teddy Bear and it’s a nice cutting. Can’t wait to hear how these are doing in the future.

You can import 12 plants without an import permit but you file for the permit online. Aphis
