I truly hope the methods used to keep these prices reasonable transfer to the US soon! Sellers out here ask $50-100 for a 2 inch pot of rare Hoya - basically a small rooted cutting 🤯
I'm in Canada, it even worse here.
Exactly why it's made me quit looking for them on ebay and etsy.
This place is from spain! they specialice in hoya! And they have a true love for them!! Here in Spain, Hoyas are pretty common, so are succulents ^^!!, Philodendrons and scindapsus are like hidden treasures thow xD

Really a beautiful selection. I too am in the US and agree with everyone about the pricing here.
Oh, finally! Someone agrees with me 😂 When I get a plant and I see that the mix is wrong for my home, I immediately repot it. The plant can arrive fine, but if the mix is too wet and it's wrong for your environment (doesn't dry out) it's a goner.
Yep, I’ve had the same happen to me once (seller even said not to repot right away). Now I repot immediately as the soil is almost always wrong for my climate.
I think it's all about building up your knowledge so you can make informed judgements on a plant by plant basis. I think in the houseplant community people are super quick to stick to general ideas like they are hard and fast rules probably because there's not actually much gardening experience in the mix.

Ik weet dat ze random updates doen en dat je nooit weet wanneer dat is, erg onhandig. verder geen idee of ze nu on hold zijn, oh ik heb even gekeken en er staan nu nul planten op! dat is voor het eerst. Misschien is ze de site aan het updaten? wel fijn want je moest eerder altijd door duizend producten klikken waarvan je niet wist of ze op voorraad waren, misschien nu bij de volgende update gewoon alles wat er is op de site en meer niet.
