Congrats! Loved mine. I think it takes some getting used to, but that is what makes it so rewarding. And still my favourite looking BMW of the last 30 years.
60k is not high mileage for that year. I have an M140 which is 7.5 years old and has 89k on the clock and still runs as it did when I puchased it with 10k on the clock 6 years ago. The key is regular servicing, particularly oil and oil filter changes at least every 10k; alongside mechanical sympathy - get the oil up to temp before driving fast and let the engine cool after a run (which prolonges the life of the turbo).
Couldn’t concentrate on the car because you were sat in the middle lane of the motorway the whole time. Usually a hint when cars start undertaking you.
I had a 2018 M4 convertible and now a 2020 M4 coupe. Both are special in their own ways. I’d honestly just go with the coupe because people will ALWAYS but you for getting the heavier convertible rather than the sportier coupe. Plus, coupe is lighter which makes for better MPG and increasingly respectable top end, plus handles better.
I bought the convertible and there’s not one day I regret! Best of both worlds since it’s a hard top. Top down on a beautiful night just cruising around is just amazing!!!
(Correction) Car is actually Frozen Red.
Picking a M4 comp 2019 up tomorrow with 55,000 mileage. Can't wait

He hogs the middle lane in nearly every video. Save your money on fast cars and take an IAM Roadsmart course instead.
@@neil5242 too late, spent all my money on an M4
Wow i love car might get one im on fence between coupe and convertible but you think the convertible m4 is any good compared to coupe??
If you want a true sports car then the coupe is the one to go for. On the road the convertible is very good though.
