Congrats my Guy!! I miss mine, I got into the Harley peer pressure! That 2004 is superior to Harley’s in so many ways! The biggest adjustment for me coming off that 2004 Marauder was speed torque and horsepower! That motorcycle would do 135 mph stock! It’s So reliable I never had a single issue! You are going to LOVE THAT DAM MOTORCYCLE!!
@@71donkrider thanks mate. I would love another harley too but this bike is just so much more reliable than my old shovel head was. ha ha getting too old (and sore) to work on bike all weekend to go for an hour ride and get home to a new oil leak
Any chance of doing an update please, even though it's some 8 years later. If you don't still have the bike, what were the good and bad things you remember about it?
@Richard W The only complaint it was a five speed! Other than that I had not a single issue in the years I had owned the motorcycle! I regret selling this motorcycle! I feel under the Harley pressure And was so pissed at the difference in performance!
@@elijahjames5308 no I caved to the pressure of “ it’s not a Harley “ And sold it for AN inferior Harley! That motorcycle top speed was 138mph stock engine! If u have chance to get one you should! U will not regret it!!
@@71donkrider I have a Yamaha warrior 1700 with a BAK, V&H bigshots & an Ivan’s flash. I’ll never sell it. 88whp & 110 ft lbs of torque to the wheel. That bike is an absolute riot & I’ve outran even the modern Harley’s today. I have a buddy that still has his maurauder 1600 & he’s never letting it go. You should go ride the Vulcan 2000, Yamaha raider 1900 or the stratoliner/roadliner 1900. Those bikes are great. I rode a V2K & that is the hardest pull I’ve felt on any bike, 116hp & 141 lbs of torque! You can’t go wrong with the V2K, it waves goodbye to Harley’s easily. You could always sell your Harley & get back into the metric performance game, it’s never too late! Ride safe brother.
If you get the chance ..get one they are some fun bikes.. Great handling, and enough power to do what you need it to do.. Check out my video with the chrome wheels. It looks real good now..
@Michael Cavalieri I sold mine. I regret it. You will love this motorcycle. It out performs lots of muscle cruisers. From 0-80 it is fast Af. It tops out at 135 mph. Didn’t have any mechanical issues at all. In my opinion it’s a good buy if the price is right
These are collectors items. Suzuki Marauder and the Kawasaki Meanstreak were a rare partnership between Kawasaki and Suzuki to co-produce this beast!
I just bought a 2004 1600 marauder love it
Congrats my Guy!!
