There's no such thing as a "no guns on stream" rule. Safe and responsible handling of real firearms is allowed, unless they recently changed policy.
I'd imagine that's still a thing, the liability of platforming something tragic most likely would play into that. But of course context plays into it, somebody joking around etc is much lighter than some person who is troubled waving one around. But yeah most likely not a smart move because the guys at twitch can't verify what is real or fake about one without a close look.
@@hajsh67 idk, I haven’t read the rules, but it seems like everyone who has shown some type of firearm within their stream, they’ve gotten banned, whether they were handling it safely or it was just on their desk. Just from what I’ve seen, IDK if there’s been examples, besides this one, where someone hasn’t been banned for mishandling a firearm, fake or not.

Donutoperator also has done the same. I'm sure there are many others, but those are the ones I've seen.

Dunno if it's a real gun but it terrifies me as an actual gun owner that she's just waving it around with finger on the trigger. A normal 9mm round will go straight through that monitor, through the walls behind it, and straight into your roommates room. Even further if it doesn't hit a wooden support beam.

@@Warigami Oh, that explains things. Where I live, drywalls aren't really used for construction, only if someone figures they want to turn a room into two during renovation. Like, every wall in my house is at least a layer of bricks, the outer walls being double layered. Bricks being bricks, it's obviously not bulletproof, but a bullet also wouldn't just pass through all the walls. And if I tried to, say, hit the wall, well, my hand will break way before that wall gets the slightest of crack on it. How do you even have privacy in your room from other family members with drywalls? No way in hell that those are soundproof in any way. Even the old communist blockhouses had the decency to use concrete for all walls, even if that concrete is thinner than brick walls...
