History was made with this video. Your bucket list trip to a much desired park and….your brother showing us he owns something other than a turtle neck lol. Well done.
There is so much to explore in this park. I went there last June with my partner and stayed at one of their hotels. You could easily spend 3 days there. The attention to detail in the theming and the variety of things to see and do is unmatched in my opinion. If they had more thrilling rides, this park would be perfect.
Ride To Happiness wouldn't exist if Euromir wasn't there. So THAT is the purpose of that coaster xD

So this is my favorite park I've been to. It's my second home (despite me living far away and I haven't visited for 3 years lmao).
The atmosphere is something special, along with the scale and the theming. All details and audio add so much.
The rides are also some of my favorites. I loved Silver Star and its solid floater (and ejector), and Wodan is one of my favorite coasters of all time for being incredibly chaotic and fast. Blue Fire is also such a solid and enjoyable coaster, and CanCan still has my favorite onboard audio of any coaster, even after visiting Disney and Plopsaland.

Many countries are themed there, you have no or limited sense of culture
@@Dschukis I think it’s mainly the language barrier. If one can’t understand the storyline due to not speaking the language, it becomes impossible to follow and seems random and all over the place. Anyway, just strikes me funny when Marc yells “what is going on?”, nothing deeper than that.
@@lafayetteds6464 Wow. I wasn’t criticizing any of the theming. If anything, it’s impressive and puts a lot of American parks to shame. I was simply saying it’s funny when Marc can’t follow what’s happening with it, I’m guessing usually due to the language barrier.
@@chadsstillalive Yeah, the language barrier is definitely a thing. But you said „strangely-themed“, which I, from a European point of view, just don’t understand. It’s replicas of European countries, I just can’t see the strangeness in that ;)
Not following the „storylines“ of those rides is a different thing. Next time, he might just has to read a little about the rides he’s riding, and it’ll clear up a little. He thought Can Can Coaster was weird, because of the dancers, but then says what does Can Can even mean. One Google search would’ve made it clear ;)
I was just generally curious what people made thinking this Park is strange :)

i know it sounds good but as a real rollercoaster intusiast i prefer to sit in the middle of the rid to get the perfect feeling for what the designer had intended.
the Silverstar creats the perfect weightless stait on each hilltop , which isnt quite intense but nice for all the old people xD

Ahhh Europa Park... My opinion here might be nostalgia driven but for me it just has so much value... I remember the first time going there. Everything felt so big and well thought through... the theming is it's biggest strength, no doubt about it. In that time Silver Star was brand new and I remember standing on the parking lot and looking at this beast. When I was standing in line, the epic soundtrack hyped me up even more. When I took place in the seats... Ohhhh boyyyy I was nervous. The lifthill felt like an eternity and I remember almost shitting my pants but the first drop is something I'll never forget and have again. Theming wise, my number 1 roller coaster in EP has to be Euro Mir. Badass soundtrack, awesome Spiral lifthill and intsense drops and helixes. Even if a ride on it can feel a bit clunky. But the rest is also great. Poseidon, Blue Fire, Wodan, Eurosat... They might not be the most intense, that's for sure but altough they are "family coasters", I think their theming makes up for it. A day in EP will always bring a smile on your face. I've been to a lot of theme parks now and altough they were all great, EP will always be my number 1. Great video! 👍🏻
Holy crap, watching the onride POV of you on Wodan and it was FLYING that day! Out of all the POVs I've seen of it, I have NEVER seen it go so fast like it did for you that day!

Ummm the "Can Can" is a dance that the women are doing at the end, and the music on the ride is the music that matches.

Great video ! For the inverted spinning powered coaster the theming is about a famous saga from Luc Besson "Arthur and the Minimoys" and for Can Can coaster, the theming can looks weird but it is about the Moulin Rouge in France with they famous dance "French Can Can"

I don't know if you knew this but the Arthur ride is actually themed by a movie thats called Arthur and the minimoy, the ride makes a lot more sense if you've seen the movies😅😂
Some more context: The movie is by a very problematic director, stars Madonna and is quite, quite terrible. The ride is probably better.

I personally think it's great to see mister slave is doing things outside of south park.
I was at europa park last month and it was incredible from the themeing to the rides everything was organized and perfect Just some advice for people who will visit GO EARLY AROUND 8-9 A clock and dont waste ur time on food and restaurants
Remember the park closes at 6 a clock so do as much as possible ❤️

Nice one. Doing Voletarium first is debatable, it's more of a ride i'd do when you want to chill a bit in-between. I mean, this is easily a two- to three-day park, and the on-site hotels (as well as Rulantica) are amazing. To get the full experience and enough re-rides, a couple of days here is recommended 👍
6:03 The "high-kicking dance" is in the ride's name, it's called the Can-can 😉
about the Arthur ride... there is a movie called "Arthur and the Invisibles" and this ride and region of the park are themed after it. If you watched the movies all of it makes sense but I guess you didn't and that is surprising.

The high kicking woman is doing the from the “can-can” dance and the music was written by Offenbach; a German born French composer who was born in Cologne in 1819 and died in 1880 (which is the same year the Cologne Cathedralwas finally completed after 632 years of much delayed construction).

Okay so here is my long ass comment now:
I am so lucky to have this as my Home Park, I love this place and I consider this my 2nd home. Sometimes I just go to there just to be there, thanks Europapark Resort Pass Gold.
Okay so about the major coasters:
Blue Fire: As said in the video, I love this coaster. This was the coaster that made me an enthusiast. It's not forceless, but it's also not the most intense. This coaster is just intense enough for families to enjoy. This coaster is pure fun and it proves during every ride how good it is. The rides quality is so consistent. Also: People who say this ride is boring/forceless are spreading false information, I myself constantly grey out on the entry into the loop.
You also have to think: This was the first big Thrill Coaster MackRides made, this was the best coaster they could make back in 2009. This ride was crucial to the future of MackRides, without this coaster, you would have awesome rides like Helix, Time Traveller, DC Rivals, Lost Gravity or Ride to Happiness. Back when it opened it was revolutionary, it was the first coaster to feature lap-bars on an inversion based coaster. So be thankful what this coaster contributed to the coaster industry.
Wodan: So this ride is absolutely fucking crazy this year, it got refurbished for the 2022 season as it had it's 10th anniversary this year. It's running better than it ever did. The Airtime is actually so strong and the laterals are downright violent.
Silver Star: This ride is B&M Mediocrity, the 1st half has such a bad rattle in valleys and non-existent Airtime, but the 2nd half saves this ride. But Europapark should still replace it or at least re-track this coaster.
Euromir: This ride is awesome, it has some rough spots but it ain't that bad. This ride just like it's soundtrack fucking slaps. That end helix is just sustained positives. I can't belive Europapark had the balls to place that element.
CanCan Coaster: My opinion on this ride is being said in my introduction. OG Eurosat was insane, CanCan is just OK
Pegasus: Fun coaster, I really enjoy riding it from time to time.
Matterhorn Blitz: Unique Lift, average Wild Mouse layout, nothing special.
Schweizer Bobbahn: This ride is boring as fuck boiii.
Other rides:
Piraten in Batavia: Fantastic Dark Ride, I actually think the fire back in 2018 benefited this ride, it is one of the best darkrides and as said, I still discover new details on every ride.
Voletarium: Great ride, not much to say.
So this park is neat, there are so many hidden paths that take you to cool places like the Blue Fire Garden (my happy place).
The food is also very good in this park.
I had a blast hanging out with you guys.
I found Silver Star to be a fine example of a B&M Hyper. I've done all the USA ones except Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia. It's no Mako but it was good enough to still be top 3 in the park I think. Didn't really feel the rattle. If you want to feel a rattle go ride Ride of Happiness at Plopsaland in the last few weeks. Wodan was running extremely good a week or so ago. I was blown away by how smooth it was compared to Troy at Toverland a few days earlier. That ride needs work! Europa Park is an amazing park. Probably one of the best "overall" parks I've visited. No top 10 rides, but then again I don't think it needs them.
blue fire is fun but really kinda low on forces. Still a very rerideable and enjoyable ride

Euro-Mir was the first spinning coaster made by MACK back in 1997.The theming is the Russian space station MIR , the training station was bought by MACK from the Russian state and exposed to visit over the Q-line…

😱 no construction footage of the new area and ride ??? What kind of enthusiast are you? lol just kidding, I really hope Voltron Coaster can be the standout coaster this parks needs so desperately. It looks promising, but it concernes me that the top speed will supposedly only be 80 km/h. Great vlog Marc! (even without construction footage)
have you seen the newest production-video?
They are explaining, that you can do much more inversions/coaster elements, tighter Turns etc. with lower speed, than with higher speed. So, sometimes lower speed is better than faster speed.

I got airtime in the back of eurosat can can coaster whas really smooth and Silver star at the back whas nice din't get airtime on wodan but blue fire in the back whas Great 😃👍🏻
The reason they allow filming with chestmount is simple, The Mack family(yes the same owners own Mack rides) owns this park its not a big company owning the park this helps, it also helps that they know filming with a chestmount is not dangerous seeing they are in the bizz

I would take all 3 of those coasters far over Blue Fire :)

Curious question for you mate, Wodan or Troy? I'm wondering as so far in europe Troy is my favorite wooden coaster, but i'm yet to experience Wodan as i'll visit for my second time ever, but first time since the opening of Wodan.

It themes plenty of rides scary and some rollercoaster can be transformed into ten times the fun! If you read this comment consider checking it out! Lech Coaster and it’s not close.
Blue Fire is a family coaster compared to Lech. I did Lech 6 times in a row and I had to pretty much tap out after that. If forces aren't your thing and you want a graceful fun ride then Blue Fire is still a great coaster though.

Hey I'm also Swiss and how does Bluefire compare to Velocicoaster? If I love Bluefire should I be scared of Velocicoaster or are they relatively similar? Or how does Silverstar compare to Mako? I really wanna go to Florida again and ride these great rides even tho I've only been to Europapark
Velocicoaster is much better than Blue Fire, but not necessarily scarier. Same with Mako compared to Silver Star.

it´s the fastest ride in Germany! ;)
Actually you should come back next year because they are building a new big coaster
earliest end of next year. They said recently, that they have delivery issues with some parts. So if things don't go right, they might wait for 2023, cause some parts like the magnets or so might be delayed, even if the track and cars are completed.

It’s somewhere in the middle/bottom. 1st half is one of my least favorites of a b&m hyper, 2nd half is one of my favorites.

The pirates ride at Disneyland is on top for me. the other two are nearly as good as the Walt Disney World ver.
