Just found your video, what a fun adventure, Had no idea that Germany has it's own Epcot style theme park. Thanks for sharing your fun day! You guys look cute snuggled up on the rides.
So moved by your kind words on Europa Park! I’m an European Disney Parks Fanatic since the first time I set my foot into Disneyland Paris in 1992. I’ve seen them all from Anaheim to Tokyo 😊 and I have to say, that Europa Park is the closest to Disney Magic that we have in Europe. Disneyland Paris might have all the IPs and the iconic attractions, but Europa-Park is the benchmark with its food, the service, its operations and theming. You should really return in summer to experience its beauty at that time of the year ❤
awww this makes me so happy to hear 😍 I totally agree, it really does radiate magic at Europa-Park! I would absolutely love to come back someday, I'll keep the summer in mind ☀️
We went in warmer weather and I loved that there were places to just relax in a grassy area with big comfy chairs. There is so much at Europa. Love the video.
You two are a super cute couple 🙂As a German who loves Disney and Universal parks I am glad you as Americans also liked Europa Park. It definitely has some strengths compared to Disney. More attractions, less crowded, lower wait times, better food and much lower prices. Admittedly the Mack family toke a lot of "inspiration" from Disney. Anyway, I love both 🙂
I love seeing the park from the eyes of someone who doesn't have Europapark as their home park. I've went pretty much every year since I was about 6, I'm almost 31 now and I still love it very much. Even had my bachelorette trip there last year. I've never been during the winter season though, and now that I've seen it I totally should go! The opening hours during summer are much longer, but so are the wait times 😅
awww I love that so much 🥰 What a cool bachelorette trip! It's such an incredible park, we were in awe around every turn! The winter season was so lovely, I was surprised at how short the lines were! I think it's worth the visit, especially if you can cozy up by those bonfires!
To me it‘s funny how everyone is saying Piraten in Batavia is like Disneys Pirates of the Carribean even though it‘s the other way around since Piraten in Batavia is much older. Yes it tragically burnt down and was rebuilt but the sceneries were almost the same before.
The first Pirates of the Carribean is from the 60th, including the restaurant inside (as in Pirates in Batavien). Since then, it has been added in all new Diney parks globally. The main difference between the Europa park version to the Pirates of the Caribean; the different name, the restaurant at the Pirates of the Carribean is at the begin of the tour inside, at the Batavia version around the end of the tour. So no. But Piraten in Batavia is a very good version of this family of dark rides, it is as good as them (as many have said).
Ok this is precious!!! Also I love the Epcot representation as someone whose DCP location was in future world :). It would feel like a piece of home for me.
I am happy you liked the park. It is mi home park. I am happy to hear that a disney fanatic who was even a cm talk so nice about the park. A good advice go in summer its a totaly diffrent vibe. And this year opened a new coaster.
Nice vlog! Yeah, Europa-Park is amazing, and it is huge! Definitely a two-day or three-day park if you want to ride a lot of the attractions and do enough re-rides of your favourites. The on-site hotels are excellent too. And so are the ride operations, they are really efficient, not to mention the locker system which is among the best. 7:54 Yes, open fire is no problem if we put a bit of trust in people to use their common sense. You will also find that playgrounds in Germany are not such plastic-dominated low-height affairs, some have quite tall climbing contraptions made out of rope for example, generally the kids can climb higher things and they are trusted not to be complete idiots. And of course the kids walk alone to school etc., so i guess there's a bit more emphasis on self-responsibility. Also, lawsuits for enormous sums are not possible here, and people don't sue so much when something happened. 16:13 If you were on Wodan already, then you can also go on Blue Fire. Wodan is quite intense already, and the inversions on Blue Fire don't really add that much more on top of that. So i would argue, if you're good on Wodan, you're good on most coasters! 👍 17:32 Aww, you went on there in the winter! 😅I guess they turn off the water for the wintertime, they don't want people splash-battling each other's boats and coming off the ride all wet. But yeah, overall, it's clear to see why this was voted the best theme park in the world so often by the industry pros! P.S. at 3:14, i hope i don't speak out of turn, but i preferred the "before make-up" look 😅 You look great without it, and the make-up gives me a bit too much photoshop/beauty filter vibes. Sorry again if it is not my place to comment on this. Just know you should have full confidence in your natural look (make-up only tarnishes it IMO), and nothing is more appealing than confidence! 👍
This vlog is so much fun!! I had no idea this place existed and I’m shocked at all the WDW similarities!! Is some of that even legal?! I guess it must be! Thanks for posting! -Lisa (I spotted the guy carrying the chicken in your instagram post 😂)
A litle background information to the pirates in Batavia. The storry behind is that bartholomeus van robemond is on quest for the firetiger. A knive witch gives a lot of power to his owner. Also to know is that he is the founder of the A. C. E. The adventure club of europe. Witch is a fictional Organisation behind a lot of the atractions in the newer time of the park.
The history behind the epcot ball designed atraction is actually pretty simple. The mack famyli owns a company called mack rides witch is designing and building rolercoaster. So when they was flying to a sales meeting in the USA they had the idea to build the park. And actually it is not an coincidence you liked the park. It is inspired by Disney.

Aww thank you! I know, it's like an alternate reality of EPCOT - it really did feel like home!

Had to dedicate this to the biggest theme park vlog fan in the family! ❤️ Thank you so much! 🥰
Have you been to Rulantica?
I have not but would love to go next time. It looked so fun!
Europa Park is not unique. There are so many attractions, that are based on Disney. Efteling is much better.
