In this video I am playing on the Tama Iron Cobra 600 Single kick drum pedal, Tama's latest entry in the legendary Iron Cobra family of kickdrum pedals.
The pedal has some great features which made it feel great and really respond well. It comes with a double-chain drive and a newly designed hinge that gives you more precise motion and increased durability. The Speedo Ring eliminates friction by replacing the traditional nylon ring, and made it super easy to work on the spring tension.
One of the best features is the the Duo Glide cam that lets you easily convert between a round "Rolling Glide" sprocket for a smooth, linear stroke, and an offset "Power Glide" sprocket for increased power and speed. The cams are easily changed by just a couple of lug nuts so you will not have to take much time at all to experiment with the different pedal set ups.
The Iron Cobra 600 Series is Tama's evolution of the bass drum pedal. With the many nice features that come on this pedal Tama has managed to design a smooth and responsive feeling pedal that is made to last. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video, I like your drum pedal reviews - very informative!
Gonna buy that excellent pedal! Thanks for video!
I don't know if this is old but you simply flip the cam to get the rollling glide or flip it back etc. It's only one cam.
Bought it yesterday, Love it. Btw. It's a Duo -cam (Power and rolling glide in one)
It has plastic on the right side right? just below the spring
Just got mine. BAM!
IC 600 double pedal or Pearl Demonator? I wish the IC 600 had a nicer beaters...
Tama HP600 VS Pearl Eliminator Solo, which one is better ?
Can you adjust beater angle independently
So I’ve been wanting this pedal for a while but I just found about the power glide and other mothers and now I don’t know which one to get. Like… what makes this series different from the others? Cause these are the only ones with numbers.
It is a slight step down from the 900 but only without the premium features such as the cobra coil and slightly more expensive parts as well as coming with a case. But if you wanna save money and still get a really good quality the 600 is perfect. I've had it for 5 years with no issues at all. IMO it feels just as good as the 900, plus you get the to switch between two different cams (power glide/rolling glide) if you're not happy with the way one feels, something the 900 doesn't do.
Como saber se um pedal Tama iron cobra p600 é original ou não?
