Hi again from Oz. I am confused as to what you did to FIX . I NOTED that you removed 2 cells but saw nothing going back in, just wires hanging out Did ypu ger new pouch cells. Was there any markings on pouch cells suggesting manufacturer
There are temperature sensors in the BMS that I can read using battery view but this battery is in parallel with others and shouldn't ever carry more than 10 amps so heat shouldn't really be an issue.
I have a system with U5000, U2000C & U2000 (all healthy - ish), and have similar software via servtec, what i do find strange is the difference in voltage in the new pack, have you done a full 100% cycle? - I've found that my older U2000's maxed out at 95% and my BMS override (Victron) - from recollection each cell voltage was 3.49?, and then it just stopped charging (I think the default was 52.4v?)
Hi wondering if you can help with comms on these battery's I have six of them how do I configure rs485 or can bus to get them to talk to a goodwe inverter
If you have these old Extra 2000 batteries, I don't think they support Can bus. My inverter talks to them via the console port so I don't know if you can get it to work with the RS485 port. In theory it should be possible but only if your inverter understands the data format the battery outputs over RS485.
great to see the interest in electronics, what software are you using?
It's called Batteryview and it is Pylontechs own software.
👍🏾 great work you should be proud

Watch part 1.
Given the addition of the foam are you keeping an eye on the temperature in that half of the battery? Brian

Might be worth you getting a active balancer for all the pylontec packs as it will bring all the cells up to the same voltage that is what i use
It's been a few weeks now and so far the BMS is doing a good job of keeping the cells balanced.
That's good news how about overall capacity is that good I'm not sure what it would be new @@nicholashowell
@@dama054 the BMS seems to think it has 50Ah but I'm not convinced as that is what it would have had new.
