Tim has one nice baling rig. He has his share of the business and now his dad has built him an awesome baler and tractor. You can tell he's proud of it. Hats of to you OLF.
Come On Wes! It is OBVIOUS! One is Yellow & Green and the other is Red & Grey ... Duh! .... Keep up the great videos OLF. They are always interesting and have some funny and/or good knowledge sharing bits! Take care.
G'day, Wes! Would honestly love to see, the Hesston 'Big Square Baler' in action, maybe showing a close up, baling a small or bulky windrow. Out in the field!! Thank you very much! Cheers! 😊🚜✌🏼💕
ALL RIGHT! Did I miss a vlog? I've watched the whole series and still haven't seen the bailer run. Just like the MIGA let down of rebuilding of that mower and was picked it up before we saw it run. I felt there should have been a test run vlog before releasing the piece of equipment. I know ya'll are balls to wall behind and busy but could you possible send someone out and shoot some video of that mower in action?
You haven't mentioned how heavy of a bale the Hesston is making, the mods you made and the machine itself looks good Wes.Now,let the 16 hour shifts begin!!.
If only you had a time machine and could send that machine back to the day it was first on the market, it would tear up the competition with all your modifications.
Congratulations on reaching your target bale weight. Adjusting the stuffer trigger, will make a big difference if, most of the time, you can have it making a flake every stroke, and you have enough power to keep on stroking, you will have maximum efficiency. The tractor travel speed will allow Tim to regulate how much hay is in one flake. With my Krone, in good dry alfalfa, I like to have about 3" flakes. 32 strokes/flakes and a 96" long bale is made. This usually puts me around 35-45 tons an hour when in a windrow. (ignoring headland time). I don't produce 1500 pound bales! Does your jd 4960 tractor support Power Beyond hydraulics with a Load Sensing line going back to the tractor? Maybe a better question... Does the Hesston 4910 baler support a 3 hose Power Beyond hydraulic hookup?
I’m not sure if you figured the cinC code out yet or someone told you but that’s a hydraulic issue either it’s set up Right (open / closed center ) or it’s not getting enough flow
I like the tune u use on occasion you have uses it in fast and slow mode. Looks like the tires on the 8500 series tractor are wearing down some. Onelonlyfarmer shouldve built and engineered hesston bailers or wat ever. They all may work better. I hope tim handles his part of the bussiness.
Having run only a dinosaur 66 New Holland baler and 14 an 24 T Deere balers, I'm glad you put this video on. I finally got how the pre charge and stuffer work. Thanks for that. Wes, those tires are damn close to everything. Are they stock size? If they are, that baler isn't mud friendly. Had to ask....
Actually the big wide tires help the bailer float across muddy ground and not create ruts. It's the same reason big girls float easier in water than skinny girls.:)
Bigger tyres allow lower ground pressure which allows you to float nicely. Those tyres could be ran at 20 bars of pressure and do no compaction. Bigger fatter tyres are way better than small narrow tyres.
I agree with everything you say. However, there has to be enough clearance to run such a tire. It appears that the tire is almost rubbing the baler at the top of the tire.
hey i knew you guys could make that baler work for your program i still would like to hear your thoughts on your battery powered 4.5 inch grinder and if you think it would work for mower blades and my 4 foot bush hog blades
Fantastic videos on this baler. I don't have enough hay ground to warrant a baler this size, but that could change. And thanks to Wes and the boys, i won't be stumbling in the dark if I make the move. MB BAR RANCH
No complaints on video quality, pretty sure the objective to your vids is to show your perspective on farming and why you do what you do. I am more interested in the content you provide than the quality of the video. Very impressed with what you did on that old beast to make if a viable option to produce more bales. Thanks for sharing with us.
west you have shown your viewers what it takes to be a successful farmer,, you've given those that watch your work ethics ….what its really like…day to day ...year after year THANKS
I love the music .i miss hearing you play. I know you're super busy but could you make a video like you used to.sitting at your table tell a story and play.i go back in your older videos just to hear you play.i know this sounds weird but it's very soothing.be safe out there and take care.🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
Good job Wes the bailer guru. You should try to get a direct sponsorship with krone! you may need to make your videos more professional however. Pay tim to do some editing work!. Also buy some expensive camera equipment you deserve a bigger audience.
I don't think anything will ever change Wes's impartiality. These were just suggestions i'm sure Wes will disagree with but i think could make his channel more appealing to a wider audience and allow this channel to grow faster. it would be good to see a krone engineer and wes working and testing new balers in Germany or something idk.
Balers are built for different crops and use what's best of ur situation bc what I bale per year is far more then u Wes but my bales are all feed bales to get through winter months and I don't care what kind of baler I use as long it does the job I need it to do
Wes for what it means.. George Saunders claimed he put 10,500 big bales thru their Claus Big Square baler without a problem.. He said he is impressed..........
Finally your stepping into the big leagues! How did you depend on one baler for so long? The Hesston will be a good second or spare baler for you. You will see a hundred ways it helps you.
Tim has one nice baling rig. He has his share of the business and now his dad has built him an awesome baler and tractor. You can tell he's proud of it. Hats of to you OLF.
Great video on how to adjust the baler and how they work. I am more of a visual learner than a book person. It makes a whole lot more sense.
Better weather, finishing touches on machine refinement, and rising spirits for the great tasks ahead...!
Come On Wes! It is OBVIOUS! One is Yellow & Green and the other is Red & Grey ... Duh! .... Keep up the great videos OLF. They are always interesting and have some funny and/or good knowledge sharing bits! Take care.
Love the videos on the Hesston baler .
G'day, Wes! Would honestly love to see, the Hesston 'Big Square Baler' in action, maybe showing a close up, baling a small or bulky windrow. Out in the field!! Thank you very much!
Cheers! 😊🚜✌🏼💕
just have to leave a comment. Good on you for knowing your equipment!
Your knowledge is mind blowing. Very impressed.
Great Mod's enjoyed your Baler series! Can't wait till winter when we get to see the inside of a IVT!

I love the banjo playing, keep it coming.
What's the clearance on the tires and the compartment above it. I didn't know if it was the video or but it looked really close. Great video ..
You mentioned that you were aiming for a 1500# bale. Did you reach your goal? What would the weight difference be in dry hay versus damp hay?
You haven't mentioned how heavy of a bale the Hesston is making, the mods you made and the machine itself looks good Wes.Now,let the 16 hour shifts begin!!.
Thanks Wes this is how I wanted to see what you done to make things better amd good for you sire love it.
How many bales a acre are you getting ??
If only you had a time machine and could send that machine back to the day it was first on the market, it would tear up the competition with all your modifications.

I love your fabrication work and tech videos
I’m not sure if you figured the cinC code out yet or someone told you but that’s a hydraulic issue either it’s set up Right (open / closed center ) or it’s not getting enough flow
If you remounted those compression rams at an angle wouldn't that cause it to bind less
Does the Heston have any type of electronic’s that are in the JD ?
Slow baling better than no baling!
Great video love the banjo music 👍👍👍

Nice vid! Good job on the baler
Do you use a hardener in your paint? Painted a few tractors myself, leaves a very nice shine
& much tougher.
Nice work Wes, I bet the people who sold you the baler wish they could have it back now! Haha
Looks like the Heston makes a good bail
It looks like the tires are Too Large and have no clearance. What happens if you get in muddy ground?
Ive been thimking the same thing
Whistle and keep trucking lol

But WES, you're NOT One Lonely Farmer any more !
Think of Teresa.
But she only Thai bride toy
a tip: you can watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Dawson Thiago Yup, I have been using Flixzone for since november myself :)
Fantastic videos on this baler. I don't have enough hay ground to warrant a baler this size, but that could change. And thanks to Wes and the boys, i won't be stumbling in the dark if I make the move.

I hope you made a video of the first bale, this Hesston would never know how many global attention it would get one day, oneTIMhesstonbaler, cool
John Haas thanks
I cried laughing
"so everyone knows its ME! CUZ IM A NARCISSIST!"
The black on red makes it look 10 times cooler! I love it!
Interesting
Your hesston & 4960 could blow my outfitt ( jd 2940 open station & jd 410 ) right off the field lol
You Are going to need a New gearbox or two on the hesston, but they make nice dence balles with some mods :)
west you have shown your viewers what it takes to be a successful farmer,, you've given those that watch your work ethics ….what its really like…day to day ...year after year THANKS
If I ever get a baler I’m gonna consult you. I will also check and see if my wife ever sent you stickers.
Can you put a loadsensing line on the hydraulic block?
Well thank goodness the Hesston is doing the business ! :-)
A grade 8 bolts isn't always stronger than a grade 5, many times a grade 8 will snap because it doesn't have any flex allowance that a grade 5 gives.
Narcacist....right tim!
Well, we are all waiting to see it bale and also ready for more pics of Little William. :):):)
Did you put some gray paint on your Hesston Orange tires? LOL
Greg O the orange on the tires is from when they brought it home on the trailer to show it was wide
Lol
Paint it with a brush.
Did someone accuse you of being a narcissist? Those people don't know the meaning of words.
2190 is self contained
when the Krone is paid off, you'll have to sell the Heston and get a second Krone. Assuming the Krone you have now is still reliable.
He is going to trade it in
I love the music .i miss hearing you play. I know you're super busy but could you make a video like you used to.sitting at your table tell a story and play.i go back in your older videos just to hear you play.i know this sounds weird but it's very soothing.be safe out there and take care.🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
very nice job wes
Wes you did a fine job on this baler! My respect! Tim is lucky to have a dad that,s more a mechanic then a farmer for real !
Not to b rude but i think Grade 5 bolt easyer to change than the machine taring it self apart.
Some people are smarter than the generations of engineers that designed and built that baler. Lol
REALY LOOKING FORWORD TO SEEING THIS THIS THING EAT
I don’t know
I thought pretty much all balers were European designed now? Are the AGCO balers American?
hestonstein is alive !!!
Good job Wes the bailer guru. You should try to get a direct sponsorship with krone!
you may need to make your videos more professional however. Pay tim to do some editing work!. Also buy some expensive camera equipment you deserve a bigger audience.
I don't think he should his impartiality makes him what he is and we all love that

Brought the Massey Ferguson right out of that Hessy with that gray 😁
Is the sunny weather still holding out for you Wes.. Thanks for sharing..
Fine Tuning, with all the work you put into it sounds like you have it running better then it ever has!👍
Looks good . Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
love the banjo music. please more banjo music
Damn that looks cool with the 60 on the business end.
Great video mayby you should get hesson out to see what you have improved
Nice video love the way you explain things hope it helps you catch up keep the good videos coming thanks.
Does Tim run the baler
No. Tim drives around the hood all day showing the baler to the public
That's classic HERE'S YOUR SIGN.
Best comment so far!
Great series, enjoyed seeing the progress.
Awesome mods and work. Still amazes me how those things work
Balers are built for different crops and use what's best of ur situation bc what I bale per year is far more then u Wes but my bales are all feed bales to get through winter months and I don't care what kind of baler I use as long it does the job I need it to do
With your modifications it screams you everyone will know it's you
Wes, you are totally awesome on getting things to work.
You need to show your baler series of videos to Hesston. Maybe you can get a job designing a new baler for them. Lol
Maybe a freeflow return might help
How's mommy and baby!!! Give um some extra hugs!! Wish ya'll the best!!!
You proved that your engineering works fair play to you PS hope little William and mum are well
diamond plate?lots of drag on that plate.diamond plate is for anti skid. you should have used smooth plate ?other wise good job.
Is that not the reason for using it. More drag = more compaction =more weight in the bale
And it keep it from springing
That's why he used it.
Wes for what it means.. George Saunders claimed he put 10,500 big bales thru their Claus Big Square baler without a problem.. He said he is impressed..........
Why do you spell your name lonley instead of lonely?
There’s some video of him explaining that it has something to do with the spelling of his name but can’t remember what video in specific
I think he said that the correct spelling was taken already.
Correct, John. It's Lonley just like Wesley
Lot of money just to make the baler perform at the standard your looking for. Hope it all works out for you....
Money ain't for nothing and the chicks are free.
There’s an upgrade for that hydraulic valve block on the baler to make it load sensing !, you then don’t have to have your tractor constant pumping !.
Hiya Wes! Afternoon!
It's always a pleasure to watch someone work that knows what they're doing. It seems you know those balers inside and out.
Thats a sweet baler now. Great job on those modifications
looking awesome.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I will probably never touch a baler in my life but it is interesting for sure.
Finally your stepping into the big leagues! How did you depend on one baler for so long? The Hesston will be a good second or spare baler for you. You will see a hundred ways it helps you.
Jason Kotara he’s already in the big leagues doing the amount he done with the krone
What amount is that?
20,000+ bales since he bought that krone 2 season ago.
Very interesting for a lawyer, thanks!
Glad your up and running
Right, Tim?
It looks fit for the job. Get as much hay baled as soon as you can to catch up.
Banana bale. I laughed so hard
Luther!!!!!........lol....Jack
What if bugatti made balers???
Nice...
God that 4960 is sexy
First~!
