- Hey guys! Here is a highly requested video on how to code your BMW with Bimmergeeks Protool! My car is a 2011 BMW 135i but will work with e90, e92, and other BMW’s. @@cooperbsu6060 Does it reprogram the headlights so they are adaptive again or just wipe the code?
@@vincentmatesso7809 wipes the code and it never came back, in order to fix the adaptive headlight you’re going to need new adaptive headlight control units

There are menus in the dash cluster that enable you to enable daytime running lights. Granted you have to know the Peter panda dance to do it but its there too.
So replaced my foot module 2010 135i both headlights still don't work halo's work but the headlights do not work. I've programmed the module with the protool everything works but the headlights no low beam or high beam.
Need to get the seat belt and air bag that will not go away tried everything!!
The first thing I coded with protool was turning off the seatbelt dong sound.

@@bryandiaz3108lol I use the seat belt when im driving of course. Whenever I get into my cars I start the engine first, then I put my seat belt on. Its what ive always done with every car ive owned. But BMW wants you to put your seat belt on first, then start the car. I cant change 25yrs of habit.
And because the seat belt dong sound is the same sound for when there is a fault with the car, the sound always gave me anxiety.
Hey man, thanks firstly. I am getting the adaptive code plus, in addition and intermittently, the turn signal error code- I checked and the turn signal not working. The signal light on dash clicks fast when during the time.( on drivers side) Both come and go. Any idea what’s happening

My angel eyes have been out for 6months. I don’t have a jack… but i used protools to code my new fuel pump module (EKPM) and now the drivers side angels work. What the heck!!! Why! What did one have to do with the other? Cant be coincidence.
So my question is can i code reset my angel eyes as if theyre new replacements in Protools? Maybe that will work

Hey I know this is a old thread but I believe you might can help me, I have a 08 bmw 335i sedan with dynamic xenon headlights, I just want to switch to the lci headlight. If possible what wiring I needs to do to make it work it’s just a plug an play, I currently install the lights also try coding them myself I get some dings an error lights to go away but one problem, I can’t figured out my angel eyes only comes on for a couple of seconds then go out idk what else I’m doing wrong, the car have frm2 footwell module. I needed help

I have e90 lci with halogen bulb on angel eyes. And when i try to change them into led lights, when the ignition turn on, they are flickering about 10 second then normal. I just want to ask you how can i stop it when the ignition on. Which code should i turn off? FRM then which angel eyes code? Thank you for answering my question...
Im not expert but i think that is how the LED bulbs work. You can maybe try and turn the voltage down... that may help. sorry for the late response! Will try and be more active!
So a while back I replaced my left headlight control unit that bolts underneath the headlight. I bought a used unit from the exact same car (2008 335xi). It fixed the fault codes but ever since when I start the car the right headlight goes up and down but the left one doesn't move. Can I re-initialize it with my Protool app or do you think it is something else?? There are no codes btw.
I don’t think so, i believe that there may be a sensor that is broken internally in the headlight. My two cents!

U can also turn the angel eye to fully bright

This doesn’t fix the adaptive headlight issue, it just erases the error and disables the adaptive light option.

I can still see at night whether or not the lights move when I turn my wheel. Dumb feature IMO

On the iDrive system, there is an option to have the chirps. Do you have the iDrive system?

This DOESN'T fix the adaptive headlight malfunction problem it only sugar coats it by disabling the error warning massage being displayed.
**** You will need a new or used TMS module (correct version) and code it with ISTA+ or E-SYS via an ENET cable, very simple!
I replaced my old AFS headlight with a cheaper non AFS headlight, and the AFS headlight malfunction error blocked my car to properly recognize the new headlight, can this protool's disable the AFS resolve my case as well? thanks.
Do you have a part number for what I need? And is this if it got water damaged? I washed my car and then got the error code after. I don’t know which side is broken. The adaptive feature works for the first 10sec after turning the car on and then the code comes on
@@sswany_ When that happens look at your headlights and you will see which one is not working, usually the one with the halo rings not lighting up.
When your headlights dry up the error goes away and your headlights work like usual unless it's been doing it plenty of times until it finally fails then it's time to replace the headlight control module. In order to prevent from failing again once they work correctly again is to remove both headlights and silicon the rings around completely. This will prevent any water and heavy moisture from entering the headlights and messing up the TMS module control unit.
Here's a video where he shows where he got the part and how he coded it easily step by step. Let me remind you that the original upgraded TMS part cost around $700 new from FCP Euro but if you can find it way cheaper original BMW OE on Ebay like I did it's more stable and higher quality! Remember he also states that on 2011 5 series non original TMS like the one he codes are easy to get coded to the car but after 2014 the ECU will detect the cheap TMS module and reject it asking for OE original!
