As for the whole lamias/nagas thing, I really don't know at this point. 😅 I've had various folks tell me that lamias imply female speakers and nagas imply male ones, other folks have said both terms are gender-neutral but refer to different types of monster with unique attributes, and still others who have said they're all just different terms for snake-people. Nowadays, I rely on the script writer to tell me how I should describe them. 😄
