I think if the circle was bigger maybe more increase rows the hat would be an adult size because mine came out small. I also used the same hook size and one in a J hook. 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve never done a hat with this pattern but I wanted to try it.

The hat came out small and I followed your directions using the same yarn with a J hook.
Depends on your yarn too. I’d use larger hook
So when you come to the the 9 rounds you have to chain 3 after each round? And slip stitch one after every round when you're doing the six rounds?

Hi, I've just finished round 15 and had a try on. I think it could do with being a bit snugger. What is the best way to decrease it a little? E.g. 10 stitches then 2 together all the way around or will this be too much? I think I need to decrease by a couple of inches at a guess. Thanks in advance.🙂
Go down hook size or decrease like you said, do a couple stitches then do a decrease and repeat, see if that helps

Mine came out hilariously small, are you supposed to be crocheting super loosely? In the written pattern it says to use a J hook, in the video you say I. Could you please tell me what millimeter hook works best with this? Thanks for all your help!

I have never seen anyone slip stitch into the last of the round like you do.your slip stitch is like much more difficult to do. Is there a reason it is done this way?
I usually end my rounds with a slip stitch to even out the round. It’s just a way to end the round to keep it straight.
I don’t understand what double crochet vs two double crochet means. 2:56 roughly.

When I loose my place on the tutorial there is no way at all of knowing what row it’s on. You don’t show the work and you don’t say the row numbers when you begin each row.
