We love watching all of yours and Camper's adventures. Our dog watches when Camper is on too. When we hike stuff that is high or steep we ALWAYS use a harness on our dog. This way IF she were to slip, we could pull her up. It also has a handle to help lift her up or down stuff. A regular collar can slip off. Keep up the epic adventures. Stay safe too 🤗
He might not be wearing a harness (best idea for sure on a mountain) but he is definitely wearing a martingale collar (Best collar’s IMO) … so he’s definitely not slipping out of it either if comes to a emergency situation.
Awesome scenery and Camper is brilliant. Loved how he took his pup cup at 7.20!🐶🤗.

I love climbing mountains with my husky. I started her at six months old...she has a lot of peaks. It's pretty amazing having a dog as your best friend.

That truck stop is by far my favorite one to stop at. Not only does it have an awesome shower. But you can walk out the back, past the hotel, and access miles and miles of hiking trails.

My wife and I visited Sedona for the first time recently. Feels like another planet at times. An amazing must see.
Have hiked Cathedral Rock before while I was still living in Tempe, Arizona. Love the colors of Sedona. San Francisco Peak outside of Flagstaff was more fun in early morning summer.

Love this video! Two of my favorite hikes in the Sedona area. Amazing how you got up (and down) portions of Cathedral Rock with both Camper and a camera! West Fork is also a favorite - beautiful any time of year - especially spring and fall.

Nothing better than having a dog in your life that is so close to you - you really know what each other is thinking..... Purest form of devotion. Keep up the good work Nikki and I am envious of the freedom you seem to have living your life. And - Camper makes everything just a little bit better..... I get to see my little one in a few hours and you would think she hasn't seen me in weeks instead of just one day.
This is the second video I've watched on this channel and I can honestly say I would marry this woman. Plus her doggo is ten out of ten cute af.
Sedona is so otherworldly beautiful. I'll never forget stumbling across it about 20 years ago, coming on it as the early morning light ignited all the colors of Oak Creek Canyon. A few years later my wife and I spent a week there for our 9th anniversary. Then I interviewed for a job where I would be based in Phoenix and travel to Flagstaff at least once a month; I was heartbroken not to get it. Love love LOVE this region!

Love the solar panel windshield shade idea
Love that hike up the canyon with all the water. Our family has had a cabin there since the 60s in that canyon and that hike is right next to it. Love that you went past the "end." Also, to NOTE, I saw a mountain lion there in July 2021. First time I saw one in those parts. Pretty crazy.
Wow crazy Mt Elden is literally in my back yard and we were probably up there on the same day! Hope you enjoyed Flag and Sedona! Such a beautiful part of the country with so much to offer.

Hi Nikki, love the content, that truck stop was our home for 7 days as we explored all the hiking trails around Sedona & Flagstaff. We also ventured into Southern Utah and hiked Angels Landing, very cool hike but very over crowded and a little pricey. We did this trip 5 years ago, and was on the road for 7 weeks in our little 22 foot Class C motor home and not one time did we pay for a camp site. Were not cheap, just thrifty....
I remember the ones in the old kitchens that sealed the bag after sucking the air out it melted the end for packages in the freezer..old yeller color.. looked like it belonged in the Brady Bunch house
I recently found your channel and I’m hooked. I love the adventures that you and camper go on, he reminds me so much of my own dog who has been a lifesaver for me as well as being my best friend. The truck stop has nice bathrooms and showers , been there about a dozen times and Flagstaff is beautiful .

Those Sedona hikes look pretty nice. I would love to do some one day. I did stop at Sliding Rock State Park with my friend Harry Johnson and we watched people sliding through the rocks! When in Flagstaff, I hiked the mountain there, Humphreys Peak. It took me two attempts since the winds and weather were not cooperating the first time.

I often wonder if animals look at views like we humans do and have the same feeling of wonderment? Sedona is one of my favorite places!
Yep. I wonder that too.
With dogs their eyesight isn't as good as ours. Humans are primarily visual animals - we have probably some of the best eyesight of any animal. Dogs are mainly audio and olfactory animals. They can hear more than we can and their sense of smell is ridiculously sensitive. I wonder if a dog might not be more interested in all the different people and animals and various plant and even geological smells in a given walk than necessarily the view.
So funny yet great seeing you bleach the tub before using! I was a little worried when I saw the thumbnail. I do the same even in a hotel. Love the videos and great seeing camper living his best life!
Like Camper I am so much better going UP than I am coming DOWN. When Nikki headed to the showers with the bleach the first time I thought she's going to use the tub and I would sanitize first too. Another inspiring video. 💕
