Roche Limit: The minimum distance to which an orbiting celestial body can approach its primary body without tidal forces overcoming the internal gravity holding the orbiting body together.
@@jellycore1316 I thought it was some nonsensical Japanese song title (like most of the names for Castlevania songs), and didn't think anything more of it. This is an awesome little piece of trivia I've stumbled on.
"And here we are!" This song showcases how much of a majestic monster Fecto Elfilis is, and I just love it. It's also probably got the most metal name for a Kirby song I've ever seen.
It made me feel a little bad for the all-consuming space monster. Imagine being caught by your prey, experimented on for years and years, and then turned into a tourist attraction afterwards. Elfilis would have been super traumatized by that phrase as well.
@@haraberu not to mention when it finally gets out and almost finishes it’s plan, a pink puffball defeats it even when it’s at full power. It even absorbs the power of Morpho just to get back at you out of spite.
“Ethereal waltz” is such a cool way to describe this song and I now realize it can apply to many other songs like this and I from now on am considering Ethereal Waltz it’s very own music genre
I agree, Evertime I go into a new Kirby game I thing "Surely they cant top the last games final boss theme" and everytime I am glad to be proven wrong.
Idk man CROWNED and Moonstruck Blossom (i think thats how you write it) are also pretty good, but imo the least strong one is PROGRAM, its a lot of gibberish with a few lined notes here and there, the song is good but a bit weak compared to other modern final battle themes.

@@somethin7020 my personal favorite will always be "Moonstruck Blossom" and its variants. I do really like this one, however to me it feels like less of a dramatic fight and more of an holy obstacle. It doesn't get my blood pumping nor turn it cold. That's just me though.
@@s.d.illius5900 Personally i found this one to be the most blood pumping final boss song particularly in the second half, it's also the most chaotic and fast paced other than like drawcia soul, but I guess people just see things differently. Also love how intricate the composition is. There are many parts where I can't focus on all the elements even if I try to and I love the amount of variety this song has as well The amount of detail and texture this song has is insane. Thought it was tempo wise as Roche limit is a waltz, but it might just be that the jumping tempos in between tracks mimics the feel of Jubileus? I definitely see it but can't pick out what makes it such
Also TD’s final boss them is “Fatal blooms in moonlight”, so these long final boss them names aren’t even new for the series. This one is just slightly more impressive for having an astronomy reference.
I have the most amazing story about Chaos Elfilis. I was using Morpho Sword, and I always called the summoning attack the ‘friend attack’ and would jokingly yell “I will kill you with my friends!” whenever I used it. Then, I was fighting Chaos Elfilis. Both of us had a single pixel of health and with only half a second before Chaos Elfilis would destroy me with a laser, I used the attack and shouted “I HAVE ONE THING YOU DON’T HAVE, *FRIENDS!”* That was the first and currently only time I beat Chaos Elfilis, and it felt like an anime moment.
WHY THE HELL DIDNT THIS SONG HAVE DRUMS TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!! THIS VERSION SOUNDS TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE NORMAL ONES GONNA FEEL EMPTYY!!!!!!!!! NOOOO!!!!!!!
It does though?? I mean, it's obviously way more subtle than what's happening here, but the percussion in the original is fantastic imo. This cover just adds to what was already great and makes it _even better._

Aka the point where a moon/other celestial body will start to be ripped apart by a planets gravity well.

Even among Kirby soundtracks, Forgotten Land’s is _cracked._ Why is everything about it as good as it _is?_
Because Kirby is basically Hal labs's well loved child and they put amazing effort into every game to improve and make it even better than the last
This song is my new favorite final boss theme period, ESPECIALLY the second phase. Thank you for creating this cover!
IMO, it's all gotta go together. Like the first phase has to lead into the 2nd for the 2nd to be that good.
