And, I 0:34 love 0:57 those 2:31 effects 6:16! 8:17, 15:16 Amazing stealth technology: 2:43 I believe it pulled 'up', almost directly 'away' from the camera; without cloud cover we would see the jet rear facing us?

Nowadays, these birds are so multirole that all gets mixed up... But the F-35 was actually designed from the ground up for ground strike role, so that should be considered as well ;)

Sukhoi really hit out of the ballpark with the su-27 family. The paint schemes dont hurt either. I wish western fighters were a little more colorful like these.
It's armed I'm impressed! Usually in air shows they strip down the plane before doing maneuvers. Sukhoi designs are sleek, beautiful, and built to do what it's supposed to do.

SU34 is foremost developed as a medium bomber derived from the airframe of SU27 with the speed and manueuverability of a fighter and was set as a complement alongside SU25 Frogfoot to provide CAS and antiship capability in the navy nevertheless it can still do air to air combat/ support roles if required.

Hey, thanks Olli! :) I am using a Sony AX53 camcorder with gimbal-stabilized lense. With max-zoom, the image gets a bit blurry so I use post-processing to make it look slightly sharper. I also change the color a wee bit on some videos (This is one of them, the original looked more grey-ish so I added some saturation).
@@Baskara0490 I think strike fighter is more accurate. It’s main mission is to attack ground targets, but it can still dogfight and has AAMs, which you wouldn’t find on something like, say, the B-52
I was so impressed with a SU-27 at a airshow in 2017 or so, it was easily the best looking and performing aircraft at the show. Between shows everyone could try and sit in the cockpit, my guess is around 200 kids tried to sit in it. When the show started: help the kid out, wipe off the melted ice cream from the seat and go. After the show: park, cool down, get the ladder and bring on more kids to sit in the plane. At the same show, the F-35 was a plywood model painted to look like the real one.
I got lucky enough to get to sit in one once! (Su-27SKM bort number 305, winter camo) Been to 5 different airshows with russian airplanes, and only once I manage to get in one, so yeah, those that achieve it can consider themselves lucky! :D

There's no analogue to the the SU-34 in the world. Totally unique & only now in the west we're starting to realise the fighter bomber is a very handy tool.
