That seems correct, Merv. Two weeks prior (17 Sept '88), Millwall beat Everton 2-1. Which would make more sense that this guy was born in 1980, not 1990.
88-89 season first year i came here it was a very good year as Frank said! COYL! MFC we were up top in winter before Christmas then got relegated. Second if i remember right was highest position. Remember Man United game just before Christmas. Happy Days.
